Made a $1100 purchase , My saleswoman stated she was the manager. I step out after my introduction of the said proper mattress for my self, returning in seconds I decided to purchase . Re-entering the store another saleswoman assisted in my purchase not once did the original " store manager" saleswoman reappear in my finalization . Two three days later I received my bed the next day I return to the store with complaints of a corals to my left and right if mattress total discomfort. I was told I have to stay in discomfort for 30 days and was told just like a pair of shoes you have to break in. Unacceptable bad customer service . Alvenia was attentive, knowledgeable, and patient. I took the 3 minute analysis and tried out the beds suggested. We went through the whole Goldilocks-type thing. Too hard, too soft and just right for both my body and then purse. As for my experience is say it was a good one shopping. I'm saving the final star for my overall satisfaction which I can't gage until I live with the bed for a bit. One item to know: you can't return the bed. You can only exchange it after you've given the bed at least 30 days. So shop around, but also allow time for the 3 minute analysis, I believe it can be helpful in narrowing down your selection. I'm pretty confident I won't want to do the "comfort exchange" but I wish I knew about that limitations before finalizing my purchase. read more

I walked into the store and asked if there were any sales in the store he responded by saying yes, even the floor models are on sale. I responded by saying that's gross thousand of people have laid on these mattresses. His response, " no one told you, you had to buy it!" I responded and said that's fine you have a nasty attitude. I no longer need you to service me. He then told the other sales associate that when she services me she needs to charge me full price for everything, don't even discount me for shipping. I purchased a mattress from here and cancelled the order before I even left the store. The sales associate didnt bother to process the refund until a week later when I went back to the store after the delivery crew turned up at my house with a mattress. She swore that it must have been a mistake at the warehouse but when I called the customer service line, I was informed that nothing had been done until the day I went back to the shop (a week after the initial cancellation). I complained to the BBB and was informed that the refund had been credited...4 days later, still no credit. 21 days I've been waiting for the $900 they were able to deduct immediately. I came into the store on January 21, 2016 to mattress shop after going to 2 Mattress Firm stores in Virginia to compare prices. I have a lumbar injury which I informed every saleman who assisted me. Mattress firm employees were not knowledgeable about the proper mattress I needed. I live in Virginia and was visiting the MD area. I left, but returned the next day. I received premium customer service from the Dynamic Duo, Mike and Ms. Alvenia. My sleeping posture was tested and I was able to purchase a bed I needed with an adjustable base. This store is terrible, I would suggest going some place else. I purchased my 700$ mattress in full two Monday's ago and was told it would be delivered that Saturday , guess what? It wasn't. They called and push my deliver back to the following Saturday . That Saturday comes , and guess what? No mattress! I talk to them and they said it would be coming that Monday. I'm currently still waiting on my mattress and to be honest I'm pissed. They claim they were going to refund my delivery fee of 100$ and that was a week ago which I still haven't gotten back. I spoke with the store manager and now she's saying I have to wait for my mattress to be delivered before it can be refunded. I purchased a king sized mattress from the Mattress Warehouse on Silver Hill Road in District Heights and was very disappointed at the lack of concern for my defected bed purchased. I had to return the same type of bedding twice after it sank in the middle on both purchases in less than 6 months. I was finally given a manufacturers guarantee for the amount of sale minus taxes and was told I could only use it on a new purchase at regular price. Considering that they are none for good sales prices, why should I have limits on my new purchase with only a store credit. They also wanted me to pay for delivery of the new bed and they had to pick up the old one. As a result, I had to go to the Largo store to purchase a queen bed because nobody took into consideration that the defected King Mattress had been wearing my back out and the fact that the bed was discontinued. There was no compensation for the pain I suffered during these weeks and months..Therefore, I just downsized to a queen because I refused to pay another dollar. Poor customer service and no customer satisfaction. I even sent them pictures of defective bed. Guess what? when they picked up the old mattress, the first thing the delivery guy noticed was that the bed was missing padding.. So I got penalized for being a dissatisfied customer.
