We have been looking for a split king adjustable bed with a very soft mattress and what we found there was the best we've seen after comparing many beds at several different stores. We'll probably go back in a few days and finish the deal. The bed we want is a higher end one with more bells and whistles that seemed to come in the package if we want any of the bells and whistles. The price is close to $5000 including everything which seems like a lot of money to us, but after looking at the Mattress Firm, a comparable bed would've been close to $10,000

I get there and no one is there. We call and a very friendly man answers and let's us in with the push of a few buttons on a lock, like we are arriving to an AirBnB. But we are mattress shopping...with our phones on. And the salesman/owner is taking us through the showroom. But he is not there. He could be anywhere. But his attention to us is focused on our understanding and knowledge of his merchandise. he is approaching this very methodically. I'm still a bit freaked out by the concept of walking around with zero in person guidance. I do not know why. Maybe it would be better to have a two way visual experience like facetime. Once I get over that strangeness...it is pretty cool to have an experience similar to what a celebrity might experience. You are the only one in the store, it is your domain to explore with no one else to compete with. Take your time, listen, just follow the guidance of the salesperson / owner while he explains the features and merits of each mattress from composition of materials to the concept of layering.

After too many years of sleeping on a bed that wasn't right for our needs and causing restless…read moresleep and keeping each other up trying to get comfortable, we decided to buy a grown up bed to help alleviate some of these issues. I wasn't expecting the experience to be as seamless and straightforward as it was. I had done a little research and knew I wanted a Beautyrest since I've slept on those before and thought they were very comfortable but wanted to try in store instead of ordering a bed sight unseen or one that comes in a box. Our salesperson, Jeff, asked all the right questions to determine what our particular sleeping needs are and was able to recommend a few that would address both our needs in our price range of $1500. Within minutes we were sold and completed our purchase with a much appreciated Presidents' Day discount a little early instead of waiting for the sale or getting a refund since they do offer to honor a lower price within thirty days so we were able to get a queen the same price as a twin. We only had to wait two days for our mattress to be delivered and the delivery team was A+ in every way. I'm still amazed at how easy everything was and best of all, we're enjoying the best sleep ever. I fall asleep and stay asleep!

However once I paid for the couch they said their printers were down and I couldn't receive the policy paperwork, I said no problem email it to me as they said they would. Next day still no paperwork. I called and the number goes to corporate and they said sorry we will send to you but nope still no policy paperwork to read over. The couch arrived and the driver asked me to sign saying I received which I did. They left I sat in on the couch and worst couch I ever sat in, as hard as a plyboard not the same as the store model. I called them to complain and all I get was sorry according to policy you had the right to refuse before the driver left so now no returns are allowed but they offered to finally send me the policy so I can read it over.... They said may require a break-in period which is well and dandy but if I cant sit in it without every bone killing me then no I cant break it in. I went online and yes the couch is offered in 3 levels of softness so the store model is soft and the one they sent was hard as rock. The store manager says they have no control over that and didn't know that was an option...Shady business practice DO NOT SHOP AT ASHLEYS STORE ANYWHERE........
