Mattress Warehouse is one of Buckhorn's two dedicated mattress stores. It's located in a strip at the Buckhorn Plaza with several other businesses and has plenty of parking. I've needed a new mattress and finally decided to pull the trigger and get it done. My goal was to arrive early on a Saturday and do this, but the store was surprisingly busy with several other customers and one sales person. The salesperson did move things along briskly, but answered all questions thoroughly. There are sanitary protections for all the beds you try, including on the test pillow. The first step they take is putting you on a computerized bed to read your body type and sleeping position. The computer give several mattress suggestions including options with more reinforcement, for huskier people such as myself. After trying about four mattresses, came up with a clear winner. Most of the test mattresses in the store are queen sized, but they offer models in all major sizes. They do have various accessories available should you need them. I found the mattress price to be fair and the charge for disposal of my old mattress to be reasonable. Mattress Warehouse will robocall you the evening before delivery with a three hour window, and they arrived only an hour into it. The gentleman who delivered my mattress were fast and professional. Ordered a matress and adjustable base - paid $200 to upgrade the base. When it was delivered - it was delivered with the lower priced base. I called and spoke to salesperson - who never called me back with any update. I called next day and got an interim manager - who had to call and find out what to do and suggested I call him back if I didn't hear from him by 5:00 pm. So - I said that good customer service is that HE should be calling me back with an update.. This obviously made him angry, however; he did call back. The update is that the salesperson did call yesterday and they are "working" on the issue. They have no timeline to replace the base and dont know when that might be and No, I cannot return the matress and base (both unused). I told the manager I was not happy and would not do business with them again - the manager HUNG UP on me! DO NO DO BUSINESS with this company. Seems like some kind of bait and switch scam. read more

Not a bad place but don't deal with Ray, he's incompetent, doesn't know how to work a computer, and you have to constantly go over with him what the heck you want... get rid of that guy or teach him how to use a freaking computer... Just bought a mattress from Ray!! He was amazing with his knowledge of helping me pick the right bed for my home. I love the new technology of scanning my body for what is right for me and my husband. I would recommend buying a bed here especially with the new technology on what your body needs. Ray gave me the attention and consideration that I needed to make this purchase. read more

Unlike the pervious reviews we found the salesman very nice and helpfull. I liked the mattress that measured your body for the best mattress fit. I went in hoping to get a low cost mattress only but because of the fitting system and comfort I ended up buying a complete bed. read more

I bought a mattress here in March 2014. The mattress stated it had a 10 year warranty. Not even 3 months later there is a large sag and the pillow top is all bunched up. I went to the store to file a claim and was told there were stipulations to the warranty. I was NOT told at the time of purchase what the terms of the warranty were or given a copy of the warranty. When I called the store to question the claim their sales associate told me "We have had issues with that mattress" but when I went to file the claim they denied an issue. I'm extremely displease with the Beauty rest mattress that cost me $1,000.00! Don't buy from these people. They don't stand behind the products that they sell. read more

This is NOT a place you want to shop at all... They have a salesman "RAY' that belongs in a cage.. We purchased a mattress set and a mattress cover from PHIL... well we left the store and left behind the cover, we called and Phil told us we could just pick it up the next day.. he'd leave it on his desk with a note... well next day we arrive to pick up our cover.. RAY has a customer and tell my wife to wait !! she explains she only needs to get HER mattress cover (Already Paid and Signed for) But Ray says she must wait ??? well I am waiting in the car.. I come it to find out WHY she is waiting 15 minutes and Ray says he was busy.. I go and pick up the cover where Phil left it and Ray grabs at me to get the cover.. Well I told Ray to back off or Else.. he threatens to call the Police.. I tell Ray whatever you need to do but I am leaving with MY cover... I called Management several times and left messages.. NO return call.. Phil did call and apologize for RAY. Who Has serious problems.. But NO ONE FROM MATTRESS WHSE.. WHY at this point this company keeps him on is a real question ???? read more

Avoid this store at all costs! 1st salesman Steve was disinterested and didn't even smile. Didn't want to explain things and seemed put off by my questions. I did know what i wanted so i made a purchase. When I had to return a piece because it didn't fit the 2nd salesman Ray was very friendly and helpful in making sure I got everything I needed. However, when it came to my refund for the returned piece he wasn't as helpful. He did provide the customer service number that he would have had to call himself ...so he was not interested in helping with that. I don't think this is his fault because I found out that their customer service dept doesn't exist. I left 3 detailed messages and sent an email over a 4 week period with NO response. I then asked to speak with the district manager but you can only leave a message. The secretary 1st told me the manager would take personal ownership of this issue. 2 weeks later, I call again, left another detailed message with a manager as mine was on vacation but he hadn't done anything regarding my refund. I still hear nothing from them. The next day the secretary looked up my account and told me the refund had been processed. 3 days later it was finally credited to my account. NOT ONE PERSON EVER CALLED ME TO TELL ME WHAT WAS GOING ON OR APOLOGIZED FOR THIS DESPICABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. These people are not worthy of your hard earned money. read more

Had a terrible experience with this company, and the delivery company they use. We ordered a mattress, to be delivered in a week and were promised they would call me the day of with a three hour window of time for delivery. They didn't call me so I could be home, and when my husband checked his phone at work, he had a voicemail from the delivery person apologizing for not calling with the window of time of delivery, but that he was out front of our house an leaving in a few minutes. My husband got in contact with me and I was home 10 minutes after that call. The truck left, and when I called the delivery company, the woman refused to have the truck come back because her records showed that they called us with the window of time (even though we had a voicemail from the delivery truck driver apologizing for not calling us). The woman was extremely rude and hung up on me. We rescheduled for delivery two days later, the company again called my husband at work instead of me. The salesman at the store apologized for messing up the contact info, said that he would work on a deal for all of our hassle and get in contact with us. A week later I still hadn't heard from him so I called and he didn't remember who I was or why I was calling (so I doubt he was working on anything for us). He said he would contact the main office, and I have not heard from him again. So, the salesman did whatever he could to get the sale, and really didn't care about the service we received. STAY AWAY from this store. read more
