Worst shopping experience of my life. I'm new to yelp, so this happened a few months ago... but I can't get the experience out of my mind!
First impression:
The guy (who never gave his name) ignored us at first. He was with another customer but he never once looked in our direction to acknowledge that we were there.
The story is dim, low ceilings and smells like mildew or stale air.
A lot of the beds were dingy and dirty and I had no desire to try any of them out.
When the unnamed man came up to us after being in the store a fair while, he simply asked what kind of bed we were looking for. This was our first time in a mattress store, I have no clue what's even available?! We told him we weren't sure and that we came to get some information and price out some beds and he got very impatient, very quickly with our questions.
Long story short, he kept pointing out beds from across the room telling us to try this one and that one and we were getting so confused. Then, I made the comment that I didn't want to try a certain bed because it looked like someone had BLED on it! And he got extremely rude and told me that these are floor samples, and do I expect them to lay out a new bed every time a customer wants to try one??? Is this how we treat our customers today?? I was disgusted. My fiancé told the man we had some research to do and we quickly left the store. No amount of money, not even a free bed could get me to go back into that store.
We visited another mattress one location and while the sales person was nicer than this one, he still came off as a slimy car salesman type.
I've read reviews about this company online and realized that a lot of people have had the same experience, which is sad. Not only that but they have a history of sending out the wrong bed or taking weeks to delivery your bed and giving lots of excuses. This is a horrible way to run a business!
We went to Mattress Firm and bought a memory foam bed and we were delighted with the way we were treated! These guys could take use some lessons from their competition one how to treat a customer! read more
