Even more dissatisfied was the son who delivered the incomplete product did nothing to offer to fix nor apologize for the issue. I also payed the company to remove the old couch as they not only did not complete that service, just left the old couch next to a dumpster. I assumed they took the old couch with them but as the son was too small to handle a simple task alone that was understandable. Called the next day and was told they had ordered the piece and it would be in a few days later. When arrived to the store I was again greeted by the owner's son and asked if the pieces arrived. He said no and had no clue when or if they would be in. Disappointed I asked if they would offer a refund or take anything off. He said that wasn't an option, as I was pretty much S.O.L.'ed at that point and at least I was able to put the armrest on the couch, which wasn't an option as without the brackets to hold both in place, the armrest would slip off. Intimidated by my displeasure he quickly grabbed for his phone to pretend to have a phone call and walked off to the back leaving me alone in the front of the store which was very childish. From his reaction it seems this type of poor professionalism and poor customer service he offers happens quite frequently. Luckily another employee was able to fix the issue which he just went to another store and got what was needed for my issue a few days later. Simple enough. Something the owner's son could not accomplish or handle is just mind boggling. I ended up deciding to get a custom ottoman instead of the one I purchased. With their 3 day return window it was no issue. Their designer Ty helped me pick out the perfect fabric for my living room. It will be 5 weeks before I get my new ottoman but no worries, I can keep the one I initially purchased until my new one arrives. It's the little things like this that make a difference. This was my first experience with the College Station store, and the last. Holly - the sales person I regrettably dealt with told me "the mattress pad is included with the mattress but is not in stock." When I went to pick up this "included" mattress pad, I find out it was not included. It was a $200 mattress pad that was of less quality than a $40 mattress pad found at the local Walmart. When we totaled up the order, it was about $1000 high. So when I asked for an explanation, Holly said it was the "standard warranty that is included." I told her I did not want an extended warranty, she argued it was standard and I had to accept it. I told her this was not my first rodeo and it is not standard. She pushed back two more times before finally deleting the extended warranty from the order. Holly provided me her cell phone number, yet was not responsive. The only reason I gave two stars is because the delivery was nearly flawless. Other than that, I give Holly a zero - and I give her manager a zero for tolerating shady sales behavior. And it is not the $1000 that pisses me off - it is the $200 mattress pad that she insisted came with the mattress we purchased.
