We were mainly interested in the Tempur-pedic mattresses and he made sure to go through each detail of each one with us. I know mattress salesmen have a bad reputation, but George wasn't pushy at all and made sure to give us space when checking out the mattresses but always making sure he was available to inform us about the products or answer any questions when needed. He also seemed pretty transparent on the pricing of the items which was appreciated. We were happy because the prices seemed very fair based on comparing to items online and the 0% APR on financing with lengthy terms was great. I think it goes all the way up to 72 months 0% APR (they use Synchrony bank). I would definitely suggest going in to the store instead of shopping online because there was so much we learned from George that online research didn't tell us. We ended up getting a Tempur-pedic mattress and base, which included complementary delivery, set up, and removal of our old mattress. Tempu-pedic is currently doing a promotion where you get $300 to spend when you purchase a mattress, so we essentially got the base for $300 off. He also gave us some good freebies/deals on good quality pillows and sheets. A nice perk about Mattress Firm is that they give you a 4 month trial period from delivery date to decide if you want to keep the mattress. If you decide it's not the right one, they will swap them out for you. Although we don't plan on using this safety net, we appreciate that it is offered. Overall, we're very happy with our experience at this Mattress Firm. Honestly, I felt way less pressure than I had experience in the past from people who work on commission. I would definitely shop here again and from George if I ever need another mattress. I can't speak about how delivery will go, but I will update if there are any key points to indicate. Otherwise, you can assume things went well!

He doesn't pressure you. What he does do is genuinely care about you. He cares about why you've come into his store. He cares about what you are looking for and the issues you might have sleeping. And from there, he'll educate you as best as he possibly can about what mattresses might be best for you. There's never a sales pitch, there is never a shady moment. He's just honest and he wants to make sure you leave happy. I started out in sales when I was younger. I can honestly say that people like Thad are one in a million. You won't find a better place, or have a better experience buying your next bed in the PNW than at his store. He made buying our first bed together a much more meaningful moment than we were expecting and for that we'll always be grateful. I did do my research before picking Mattress City in Shoreline, having looked for well-reviewed mattress stores - which this is - so I wasn't totally surprised when the sales associates were pleasant - but then they turned out to be so much more than that! Emily and Trinity were knowledgeable, patient, positive, and just about the friendliest and most genuinely upbeat salespeople I've ever had the pleasure of interacting with! They gave us a multitude of options and didn't press us to buy the most expensive mattress or the highest tech mattress, and let us take our time with zero pressure. Emily even offered me a brand new, clean pillowcase right out of the package to put on a pillow so I could shake off my heebie-jeebies of other heads and faces having laid on it, haha. It was a very thoughtful gesture. While we ended up purchasing a mattress a bit over what we had budgeted, that was totally on us. Emily and Trinity were both very supportive of our purchasing the lower-priced model, but then we just kind of shifted gears and went with the fancier mattress - which I know we're going to love! It's a true credit to them that we honestly felt free to spend a little or a lot, and knew we would still receive the same super friendly enthusiasm either way. They even managed to arrange for delivery within 24 hours, which was a true bonus! We won't forget this incredibly positive experience any time soon. The original lady stated that I would only need the pillows and bolsters. She seemed annoyed but then abruptly said "ok you're all done" I didn't feel comfortable so I said "do I get a receipt or email?" Nothing had come through at that point so I said I wanted to take a picture of the iPad she was working on and she gave me such attitude and sass with a deep sigh. We had our last couch for 4 years and it still looks brand new - so changes in shape or color. However, my poor review is based on their $150 delivery service. It was a horrible experience!!! Our delivery time was scheduled for 12 to 3pm and we were the 3rd stop. We live 5 miles from the Dania Lynnwood store. The delivery men did not show up until 5:30pm. Waaaaaay past the scheduled time & the only notification they give you is a link that repeatedly updates the time. No one calls or lets you know how long of a delay it will be. We wasted 5.5 hours of our day sitting at home waiting for the delivery. I do not appreciate people who waste my time! We also found out from the drivers they came from Lake Stevens on the last delivery (much farther in distance than our home) and they had 2 homes with 20 pieces each to assemble/deliver. Keep in mind, ours was 1 couch which only took 30 mins to assemble. WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE 1st delivery, not the LAST! Very poor planning on their delivery service. This experience actually makes me think twice about shopping with Dania again.
