She stated she was upset about my experience and wanted to rectify my concerns so she contacted the higher-ups namely Ryan and another gentleman, plus their head of transactions: Megan to get this whole situation addressed to my satisfaction. Terri also mentioned the company cares about their customers. I believe with every moment I got to speak with her that she is very genuine. From a buyer/customers perspective, I believe she is an immense pillar that holds this business up and an asset to absolutely keep at the forefront. I state this because in wanting to build my trust again and show herself apologetic, she made arrangements for the defective mattress to be picked up (Wednesday, Sep 22nd) 6 days sooner than the original date of pick up. She also stated a full refund would be issued promptly which I am very pleased to hear. As for the pick-up, unfortunately I did not get an automated message, text or even a call the day prior (Tuesday) to confirm the window in which they would arrive so I called today (Wednesday-pick up day) to confirm. I spoke with Brandy - she assured the drivers could arrive about 12:30pm to pick up. Better than that they arrived 15 minutes earlier and loaded the mattress quickly. Steven was the driver and his demeanor was kind and compassionate. I really appreciated that. Overall, the way this has been handled (to rectify) does leave a small opening for me to possibly recommend them. Although I believe my original post leaves room for this company to use as a learning lesson and an eye-opening experience to train or re-train both those in charge of creating and inspecting so customers are happy. Also to notify the delivery teams to make sure customers are asked prior to removing packaging or even given ample time to inspect their item(s) before being rushed to sign. NOTE TO BUYERS: INSPECT your items prior to getting rushed to sign on the dotted line from the delivery drivers. Once you sign, regardless of whatever excuses or reasons they give, you are now responsible for any issues that may arise or show up after they've gotten your signature on their iPad. I now await to get refunded the total amount paid. Fingers crossed that happens as quickly as stated.

No one should tell a customer when he or she can be on the phone I began walking around & said hey can you just point me to the mattresses with the springs (at this point I was nearing the end of the conversation with my recruiter) about 3 minutes after walking in when he repeated in a load voice No get off your phone & then we can talk! Idk if it's because I'm Hispanic & he assumed I couldn't buy or because I was in gym cloths that made him feel it was okay to talk to me this way. We were really not sure what we wanted until we came into Hansens, (MODESTO LOCATION) and then we first met Fred our Salesman. But he wasn't just a salesman. Fred figured out what we needed, and really helped us. We ended up ordering a three seater couch, which a wedge chair and an ottoman.....we were not sure whether to order the loveseat, so it would be a sectional, because of space, so we decided to wait until the furniture arrived. It arrived about 5 weeks later, and we loved it so much, that we called Hansen's that same day (August 11, 2020) and ordered the loveseat. I spoke to Matt, the owner, and he was very accommodating, ordered the loveseat and told us it would be about 45 days. Because of the COVID restrictions, I was then told it would not be here until October. 3 days ago, (October 6, 2020) I was then told....it would not be there until mid December. My husband and I decided to go down to Hansen's and see if we could talk to Matt, and see if there was anything he could do. Matt was amazing! He immediately went into 'FIX IT MODE'. He called his other locations, and found us the same couch, and it is now being delivered next week. Thank you Matt & Fred! Hansen's are the only place we will now go for our furniture needs!

The material is cracking where it meets between the cushions', at the seem. The quality of their products has significantly declined since we first purchased from them 20 years ago. We had purchased our previous bed at Sleep Train over 10 years ago (after which they became Mattress Firm) and had loved it so much, we wanted the same mattress. Unfortunately, Temperpedic no longer makes it so we were dreading having to go through the whole process of laying on every bed to find something we both liked. We have totally different sleep positions so that makes it a challenge. Bruno guided us to a few comparable mattresses and helped us narrow the best one for us in no time. He shared so much good information about the different types of mattresses and pillows, and didn't rush us as we lounged on the beds; it made everything so easy.
