Making any kind of big purchase can be fraught and stressful. You want to get a good deal, but it's like the people selling the things are trying to make that as difficult as possible. But I'm happy to say that getting our mattress at Mattress Xpress was probably the most pleasant "big purchase" shopping experience I've had. The showroom is absolutely massive, and no one was hanging around, watching our every move as we tried them out. We did meet Karl, and he directed us to some we'd like and answered any questions we had, but he mostly let us figure it out for ourselves, which was great because we were probably there for 1.5 hours going back and forth between our favorites. We ended up getting a great deal on a king size latex mattress. And even though it was one of the most expensive mattresses in their store, it was sooo much less than what you'd pay for a latex mattress elsewhere, and even less than a mid-range mattress at a big name store. We used to come back from traveling wishing that our bed at home was as comfortable as one in a hotel. Now that's reversed and our bed at home is more comfortable than any hotel.

We were greeted promptly and efficiently with a gentleman by the name of Brian. Brian was very friendly and knew exactly what I needed from the moment. I walked in the door and explain to him what was going on because I have a crushed spine. He walk us through the whole process and was very funny and took the time to let us try all the mattresses we wanted to try, and did not feel like we were being rushed at all. He gave us his cell phone number after the service was done in case we needed anything after the sale was complete to help with, which was very much appreciated because it ended up being Needed later on. The delivery of the platform and mattress was a little different because I was kind of skeptical about the whole process because I knew the size of my stairwell that it needed to go up and sure enough what we had purchased did not fit so we had to wait and Get a new platform in new bed than what we originally purchased, but Brian was with us the whole time walking us through the process and helping us out. He was an absolute pleasure to work with and because of the fact that he did what he did I would continue to return back to this location, I recommend that if you are in search of a bed that you check this place out it is definitely worth your while and by the way it's been the best night sleep I've ever had in my life I wake up refreshed and my wife is saying that I don't snore anymore lol I didn't think I snored. We ordered a mattress and box spring for our 3rd floor guest room. Metro Mattress delivered the items to the front porch so it was up to us to get them up the stairs. Turned out the box spring could not navigate a tight turn on the stairway so we couldn't use it. We let Metro Mattress know we needed to bring the items back and they said no way, no returns regardless. The items are brand new in their packaging. This is ridiculous. Casper for one offers a "free 100 day sleep trial" so I can't imagine how Metro Mattress can stay in business with this policy. Actually, I can: because people don't learn about their policy until it's too late. Please read the word!

He explained he can extend the discounted price because the matress my friend was interested in was discontinued, they have them in the warehouse to sell, and they can be flexible in price. We walked out satisfied. About a week later, the matress was delivered to my friend. She took off the plastic cover only to find out that this store delivered a used mattress or floor model with blood and stains all over it. Never ever did Tommy explain that the discounted price for the matress was only for a used or floor model matress. In fact, prior to completing the purchase, I asked Tommy where the matress will come from and he explained his warehouse and that they own back stock of the discontinued model. This store tried to deliver a used matress to my friend, but fortunately she is smarter than these swindlers. Ultimately, after a fight, metro matress agreed to pick the matress up and refund my friend what she paid for the matress. What a waste of time and energy! Of note, tommy insisted my friend post a review on Google and sent her a link to fill out a review prior to receiving delivery of the matress. She now cannot edit her review because tommy gets people to use the third party review platform that doesn't allow edits. So I wonder... How many of these five star reviews are accurate???? Don't find out for yourself, just avoid this store.
