Stahls blames CCS and CCS will not extend the warranty for the 6 months I've been dealing with a broken $2500 $400 warrantied chair. We aren't in a pandemic and really feel Stahl should be putting the pressure on the warranty company that I paid Stahl the purchase price. My last LaZBoy and no more Stahl. I try to support local businesses but I'm done with them.

Distinctive Home Furnishings is located near Menards, and I hope they're here to stay. After I received my tax refund, I decided to take a look around. My old Flexsteel had popped a spring, and because it was kind of beat up, I thought a new recliner might make a nice treat. They had some BEAUTIFUL floor models, and had catalogs showing almost any variation you could think of if you wanted a different color or material. In some cases, they had less expensive options if you don't have a premium brand budget. After running into some health issues, I had to take a new recliner off my wish list. However, being an authorized Flexsteel dealer, they were able to assist me with the repair of my old recliner. Because Flexsteel offers a lifetime warranty on their springs, I was able to breathe new life into my old recliner, and my back has thanked me! If you have a repair done, just be ready to wait. Those things take time, but totally worth the wait. I'm grateful for their help, and when I have a recliner budget, I'm heading back as fast as I can to get one!

We've been searching for a mattress for two years off & on and have been in many mattress stores…read more We had read reviews online and liked The Bowles mattresses and decided on visiting Long's Mattress in Columbus, IN. We walked in and was greeted by one of the most awesome salespersons. Greg was so nice, it was like talking to an old friend. You don't find that much anywhere in sales. Greg showed us around the store and went in-depth explaining each mattress. He told us how and where they were made and how great the owner of the company was, Doug Petrosky. The owners name is on a big sign with his personal number on it!! Where do you find that in a store! He ask us questions on our sleep patterns, our likes and dislikes. He then encouraged us to feel free to lie down, turn on our sides and get comfortable like we would at home. We sampled many mattresses, never feeling hurried at all. We found one we loved and purchased it. It will be delivered on Friday and we cannot wait. We are so thankful that Greg was there when we walked in, he is a floater and moves around from other locations but he was the best we have met in our two years of shopping for a mattress. Thank you Greg for your kindness and help in choosing our mattress, you made us feel at home.

A few months later I had a few small problems with the bed and chair. They were cosmetic reasons for the that I was not happy with immediately they came and picked up my items took them back to the shop and fixed and replaced them the next day excellent service. Granted, I'm not running out buying appliances every other day, but if i were, I'd try to buy them here. Another reviewer mentions using Buy Now for appliances to help them flip houses affordably. I would totally use them for that! The biggest challenge is either having someone that can swap out your appliances or haul away your old ones. If you use a handyman service, it will cost a bit, but if you're buying something like a fridge, you'll still probably save a lot. They'll hold a purchased item for about a week. I've been shopping for a fridge for several months, resigned to paying an arm and a leg. Buy Now has close outs and scratch and dent appliances for MUCH LESS than new in a store. They're unboxed and ready to go! After much hemming and hawing, I settled on a GE. It was one of the few that didn't have the original packing inside. As I was lining up a handyman to help me get the old one out and the new one in, I got a call. They had tested it and found it did not work. A replacement part was ordered, but i was also given the option to choose a replacement. The guy I hired went to pick it up and it seems like he was in and out quickly. They had refrigerators, stoves, washers, dryers, and tons more. I'm definitely going back next time I need a new appliance!

The other half of the building looked to be a workshop for building the furniture. Everything was fine until I asked the question, "I am looking for a butcher block top for my kitchen island." The answer was "Well. Do you need the island too?" I told her that I just needed the top. "No we don't have a top. Don't really know where to get one", she said. It seemed to me that they wanted to make the whole island and would have gladly found a butcher block top for it. I went into the store because it's not a chain store and they made furniture. I would not have minded paying a little more to support a local business. Well, off to the next store.
