I stopped in this weekend looking for a lift chair for my grandmother. Originally I stopped at…read morelazyboy in Southport however they were out of every single lift chair. I live in shelby county and honestly had never stopped into the sleep source. My dad recommended for stop in, so I did. Not only did they have more of a lift chair selection than lazyboy, their prices were comparable. And they were all on stock. They have a great selection to choose from. The nice lady that helped me-I believe her name is Ro. She was great!! Very personable, nice and kind. I was also in the market for an additional chair for my grandmother, for when she has company. I had some specific needs for this chair and she pointed me back to the clearance section. I got the perfect additional chair for about 80% off retail price. And!!! They had free delivery and took the couch away!! That was going to be a project itself for me so they made my day offering to take the couch! I would definitely recommend this place, and I will be back in the future.

Peter Grant has been crafting artisan furniture for many years. I bought my dining room table and…read morechairs from this location a number of years ago. I like that the furniture is locally crafted in Brown County and that local woods are used. And they even delivered my furniture up to Zionsville. Today, I stopped in the showroom to see what was new. I fell in love with the hickory rockers and matching pieces. Not only is the furniture beautiful, it's solid and well made. They also have a line of outdoor furniture that is so comfortable that I didn't want to get out. The clerks are friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are in line with what I see from imported options. If you want quality (artisan) made, solid wood furniture, and shop local, I highly recommend Peter Grant's.

I stopped into this carpet store / antique shop and ordered some carpet for an outdoor front porch…read more I think the husband runs the carpet business and the wife runs the antique business, and the son-in-law is one of the carpet installers. How's that for a local family operated business! It took about 7 days for my special order carpet to arrive, then due to it being a bit chilly and rainy and this carpet going outside on a covered porch, we had to wait about another 30 days for the weather to be right to get it installed. The installers came and had it done in about 6 hours, and this included tearing up the old carpet and hauling it away. The new carpet is very soft, easy to clean, feels great on bare feet, has a 5 year warranty, and looks great on the front porch. The very old (30yrs??) worn carpet was one of the first things seen by anyone walking up onto the porch, and now it makes you proud to have people come to your front door. They did an excellent job, acted professional, and all seems to have been done very nicely and correct. To cover the porch with 1 piece of carpet and avoid having a seem, I did have to order a larger, most costly, piece of carpet. But with it being outdoor carpet I was worried the seem would give in a year or two and cause issues, and I will just use the leftover carpet elsewhere. The cost was right at $500 total for everything. Approx size of 8ft x 16ft, very high quality carpet.

The store was warm, inviting, clean and well organized. Most of the decor ran toward Farmhouse and traditional decor. They offered many of the same pieces your seeing now in boutiques and home decor shops. Cute roosters, cow and pig decor, linens, cabinets, tables, sofa set and few side chairs. Very current decor with affordable prices. The surprise was the very nice selection of cute womens clothing, jean's, jackets and boot selection as well as infant to toddler size outfits. The only negative was the employee who sat behind the counter and never moved. I had questions, and I went up to the desk, asked, then short, blunt answers and she dismissed us. I heard several others with I wonder questions but no one approached her. Maybe it was just a bad day but it kept me from making a purchase. Otherwise, this is an adorable furniture store with cute home decor.
