It has to be plugged in at night so they brought the battery charger and even stopped and bought a new extension cord. The battery wasn't fully charged but charged enough to get 4 of us around until we finished for the day. I highly recommend renting your cart from Sea Island. I rented one in the past from a place downtown Beaufort a few years ago and it was junk. I had the opposite with this company. Give Zaxby a call and if possible I promise he will take very good care of you. Doing business with Sea Island was flawless!!

Unfortunately we only had 15 minutes to shop as the store closed at 2 pm not 3pm as stated on their Yelp page. Therefore I shot an update to Yelp quickly to update. Once inside the salesperson was extremely knowledgeable about the golf carts. Truthfully most of the information went over my head when it came to the battery life. I just look for seats that will be comfortable. There was one in a Teal green that was redone with beautiful quilted seats. I am assuming leather but maybe not to take all that direct sunlight without fading. Beautiful selections but price's definitely reflect it. $$$$$

During testimony he admitted in Beaufort County Magistrate Court that he had sold our AC unit that belonged to us while it was in his possession. He also acknowledged that he installed one brand of water pump yet submitted to our warranty company that he had installed the Newmar recommended brand. The non-recommend water pump failed after approximately 3.5 months. We pursued the matter through the court and were awarded a judgment in March 2026. The judge ordered payment to us within 30 days, which he has not made as of the date of this review. I am sharing this to help others make informed decisions. I recommend documenting all agreements and verifying parts and warranty submissions carefully.

I'm an 84 year old woman and I questioned the price. I also have a great sense of humor, so I said well if you are taking me across karma's k a B---h! They are a group of young boys and took offense to my joke and refused to work on my car! I drove to another repair shop and I also needed rotors,they asked if I wanted to see how they were working out worn. Auto Repair would have slapped a pair of pads on the worn down rotors, so I am grateful that they refused to work on my car. And when they grow up I hope they develop a sense of humor. Also the waiting area has 3 metal high stools to sit on and every time they go back and forth ( which they do a lot) a deafening bell chimes which is very irritating when you have to sit on those hard, cold stools for an hour.

Because she arrived late in the day, they asked her to leave the car overnight. The next morning they told her the battery was bad and quoted over $350 to replace it. She called Sam's Club in Bluffton--$140 with free installation. When she called the Auto Care Center back, they said she still owed $63 just for the battery test. Running late for work, she told me what happened, so I called the manager, Gary. When I questioned the $63 fee--especially when local auto parts stores test batteries for free--his response was, "I got to pay taxes." He repeated this instead of reconsidering the charge. Ladies, be aware before you take your car there.
