I've been to this drive through beer distributor many times, but after my recent experience, I'll…read morebe taking my business elsewhere. On Sunday around 4:40 p.m., I purchased a case of Simply Spiked Lemonade 12 pk. The employee placed the case in my backseat, and I moved it to the floor because I didn't want it sitting on my seat. When I arrived at my destination and went to pick up the case, I noticed liquid leaking from it. After checking it I found that at least two cans had tiny holes and were leaking. The cans weren't opened, but they were leaking enough to make a mess and leave my car smelling like alcohol. At 4:58 p.m., I immediately called the store to let them know what had happened, but they were already closed at 4:50 pm per Google so I left a voicemail. I wasn't calling to ask for a refund or replacement I simply wanted to let them know there may have been an issue with the product. Since the cans were leaking all over my car, I discarded them. After not receiving a return call, I called again today. The employee returned my call, but before I could fully explain what happened, I was immediately told it couldn't have happened because they check every case before it leaves the store. I repeatedly explained that I wasn't asking for money back I only wanted to make them aware of what had occurred. Instead of listening, I was talked over, and they hung up on me. I called back and asked the gentleman who had been rude to me if he was the owner. He said he was. I then asked for his name, and he told me I didn't need to know his name and proceeded to hang up on me. I understand that businesses may disagree with a customer's account, but there's a respectful way to handle those conversations. I wasn't looking for compensation I simply wanted to make them aware of a product issue. What disappointed me wasn't the leaking cans it was how my concerns were handled. Based on this experience, I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

I am updating my review from 2 months ago back in May. I held back in my original review and was…read moregenerous and gave these guys a 4* but with comments highlighting my concerns about the lack of masks both among the employees and from entering customers. I went in again a 2nd time and visited a 3rd time just in the past few days. The employees STILL do not wear masks. There is a sign on the door that firmly demands that anyone entering the store must wear a mask but the staff do not abide by their own rules. They have a glass shield at the counter so I guess that's one effort they have made to try and stop the virus spread. However, when cases are rising all over the US on a daily basis, employees should at least cover their nose and mouth to give more comfort to customers who are wearing masks to protect them from our germs. So I have downgraded my generous 4* to a realistic 1* due to the lack of masks worn by staff. I support local businesses and if this business will begin to take mask wearing and people's health safety into more consideration, then I will consider revising my nasty review and potentially moving their rating back up to a more generous level. But only if I know that these guys are finally taking this thing seriously. My review from May 2020 below: So, they have a sign that says you need to wear a mask but the employee is walking around without a mask. As I'm grabbing a case of beer I see a customer coming in with no mask. Then another customer enters and he ALSO isn't wearing a mask. So now I'm the only idiot in the store with a mask on. It was like I magically got transported back in time to three months ago. So if you think masks are a nuisance and you don't feel like wearing one then get your beer here. Anyway They have a decent beer selection so I'll be nice and give them 4 st

That is no longer the case. Great beer variety (and for the most part the cheapest in the neighborhood), an extremely friendly and helpful staff, and a tapped keg on hand for you to quench your thirst, plus they even hooked up a charity event I was just part of with discount beer. If the surplus of beers of all kinds isn't enough to make this a cool spot for you, perhaps the owner's customer appreciation days will do it. A couple times a year (with advanced notice) Javies has CADs, wherein booze is offered to help you enjoy the games held there (beer pong/flip cup style festivities). As an added bonus, in the short time leading up to the party, every time you buy beer you get a raffle ticket for a chance to win some of that cool promotional swag the brewers unload on them, then the day of, the drawings are held until there is no gear left. They also do a reward program with spending eventually equaling discounts, but I have yet to take advantage of it so I don't know the ins and outs. ***Added 2/19/11*** Yesterday Mama Nature fluked out a spring-time-in-winter afternoon with 69 degree weather (third warm day in a row), and that meant many of the local spots that try to save money by shutting off their coolers for the season were selling lukewarm suds (Worldwide, Speedy's).
