Turns out root canal was wrong too!!! didn't put a post when it was needed. And sure enough crown is botched as well. I urge everyone who had issues to contact the California dental board. I did because he's so unprofessional. Had another root canal and crown done with him. Around the same time and that one too has a gap between where food gets stuck. At this point I'm gonna contact an attorney after I talk to dental board because that crown was paid for cash, and I don't want him touching my teeth because he leaves them worse each time. I regrets going to this dentist my tooth throbs at times I'm afraid it didnt seal correctly and I have a cavity on my tooth. I don't know what this man uses to seal them it's terrible!! Terrible dentist!!! Save time hassle and $ do not got there. I got a crown, two weeks later I noticed I had a gap between tooth and crown, food was getting stuck and smelled bad, go back told him the issue ha wanted me to pay $120 to clean the gum I told him it smelled bad because the food getting stuck!!! I left angry. Decided to get a water pick and got me antibiotics just in case I was developing infection. I used the water pick and sure enough food came out and smelled. I went back and told him the issue he was focusing on another tooth I told him I was there for the crown not to worry about my other tooth. Anyway he agreed to replace it after I insisted, I go to get my tooth ready for the replacement and for the temporary cap and instead he filed it down and since it was a big gap the crown looked terrible crooked I told him I was there for replacement like he had already agreed and even had it on a sticky note on the tray. He looked annoyed! I just thought you don't file it down before asking if it's ok with me. I refused cause it looked very crooked on the inside . A few weeks later I go in for new crown he cemented it, literally 5 minutes late,I had to go back cause it fell ugh! He filed down my tooth and I believe cleaned the crown . He re-cemented it put it back and two weeks later I noticed I had gaps everywhere and it was loose. Had to contact insurance to file a complain and will definitely call the CA, dental board. Terrible dentist do not go with him I will see what gets done and find another dentist. Malpractice, doesn't listen to you, and doesn't understand what you're saying every time he tries to make it better he makes it worse 1

She kept saying that my insurance will not pay for the consultation, though I told her that my insurance is not for calendar year but for academic year. After I requested her bill the estimate with the insurance, she became impatient and asked whether I would like to cancel the appointment. She can just bill the estimate with the insurance but she did not. I admit that I just found that this dentist was also recommended by my former endodontist,- Royeen Nesari, who lost in our recent small claim lawsuit for his dismissal mid-treatment. So, given my past terrible experience with Dr Nesari, their close ties and the receptionist's refusal to bill the insurance, I think that they are just trying to hide something from the insurance company, to protect their dentist community, even though the judge has already ruled against Dr Royeen Nesari and then Dr Nesari sent me attorney letters after losing our lawsuit!

I just wanted to know the cause so we could fix it and she was so outright mean that I told her I didnt want her to bill my correct insurance and restart the process just based on this call. It was honestly the worst customer service I can remember ever having which is too bad because Dr. Les is great.

I thought…read moreif you study a speciality beyond just general dentistry then the expectation is you should know what you're doing but the dentist made me feel very uncomfortable by appearing unsure of if he'd be able to complete a root canal which made me unsure if I want an unsure questionable root canal not provided with more confidence. Also, I'm not a doctor but I am a LMFT who's worked in the psych world for 20 years. Because of the meds I take, that I'm aware of a low to no risk of a negative drug interaction and quite frankly, I'm prescribed by my prior general dentists to minimize my anxiety about going to the dentist...and then a specialist who first said he would prescribe something and I could come back the next day except he than felt uncomfortable prescribing because of what I take. The endodontist I ultimately went with who I've seen in the past who is out of network (so I paid a lot more) was accommodating and confident. He did prescribe the medication and I asked are there any negative interactions between my meds and what he was giving me and he said exactly what I said to the geer endodontist which was there is no worry as the meds fall under different drug classes that are often prescribed together as a combination because they do not counteract each other. So, the uncertainty and someone who's uncomfortable prescribing a medication he initially said he would then wouldn't because he doesn't have licenses and certifications to do so or just doesn't understand the low to no risk for contraindications according to medicinal guidelines should be categorized as not a specialist in my opinion. I'd give 1 star but Jessica deserves an added star.

Over one year and a half! My new dentist told me that the pain will very likely persists for years and nothing can be done at this point. Dr. skinner told me that I am sensitive to fillings. He tried to explain that different teeth respond differently to dental work at different ages, because my another dental filling done many years ago never sensitive. But, I recently got fillings done in China and NONE of them are sensitive and painful. ALL the fillings done here were sensitive and painful! So, it is HIS fillings that are sensitive and painful but NOT I am sensitive to dental work! After his fillings, I have seen a couple dentists for pain and even flied 18 hours to the other side of the world to seek solutions. Jesus, nobody can stay calm with such annoying pain and sensitivity for over one year and a half, very likely two, three or more years. Well, I will definitely give them zero if can.

So I agreed. After the x-ray, Dr. Patel came back in and said he needed 5 teeth pulled and it would be $3,000.00 I was stunned! Also that did not include todays visit. I told them I would have to see what I could come up with, I did not have $3000. They told me I could apply for Care Credit or Cherry, I did and was approved for $9000. to be used only at Dr. Patels office. Paid cash $300.00 for today made an appt for a week away. My Dad is 93 and on a limited income and I also wanted to check with his Dr. to make sure it was ok to do this. The next day after thinking about everything, I felt as if we were being taken advantage of. I went back to original dentist and told them what happened. He decided he would do it himself. Which he did and all is well. Another thing I did not like was Dr Patels office gave no breakdown on the charges just $3,000. I would not advise anybody to go here.
