If I could give Dr. Mitchel's office 10 stars I would. I highly recommend his office. Dr. Mitchel and his staff never stop impressing me. My brothers and I were patients of Dr. Mitchel in our teen years. We always enjoyed going to our appointments. His staff was always very friendly and welcoming. Not to mention we were all very happy with our final results. Now my daughter and son are patients of Dr. Mitchel. They love going to their appointments. They enjoy checking in with their finger prints, all his monthly contest, yearbook selections; friendly staff and they love not having to wait a long time to be seen. Aside of all the modern gadgets and neat activities the office puts together, clean and friendly environment at Dr. Mitchel's, the greatest assets that the practice has is the love for their job. Sunday, August 31, 2014 my 11 year old son had an accident. He was hit by a baseball at his baseball tournament. He was very badly injured. His teeth were completely out of place. We called Dr. Mitchel's office, oral surgeons, and dentist in the area and we were having a hard time reaching someone because it was Sunday and a 3 day weekend. Dr. Mitchel was the first to call me back. After telling him what happened he told me to meet him at the office. When my family and I arrived to his office, he had everything ready waiting for us. He was very calm and friendly and really made my entire family feel like everything would be ok. He made my son feel very comfortable while working on his teeth. He explained to us step by step what he had done and what to expect. He seemed very happy to have help us in this time of need for us and we were beyond joyful. I realized how much love Dr. Mitchel has for what he does. He truly is in his profession to help others. He is a man with passion in his profession and he truly knows what he's doing. Dr Ronconi took over my Invisalign treatment from the prior owner (who I was also very happy with). I was actually post-treatment when the ownership change took place, and came in to see him for a follow up. I mentioned I was a little bothered by the outcome of my original treatment as a gap remained between a couple teeth that I wasn't comfortable with visually (my original cross-bite problem was fully resolved with initial treatment). Dr Ronconi had staff use their new equipment to prepare models of my current bite (no more silly-putty-like goo draining down my throat). From that, a treatment plan was established for the adjustment needed. I am about 2/3 of the way through my adjustment treatment plan, and I can already tell that I will be pleased with the outcome. My cross bite remains corrected and the cosmetic adjustment is nearly resolved. It's not unusual with Invisalign to need some minor adjustments post-treatment, and I really appreciate Dr Ronconi and his amazing staff for their assistance with the process. From the moment you walk in and talk to Kim at the front desk, to moving back to the treatment area where EVERY staff member is friendly and helpful and professional, to Dr Ronconi taking the time to listen to your concerns and taking action, your visits to the office are ALL good. read more

Dr. Mitchell and his wife welcomed us with open arms on a Saturday evening even though i know we interrupted them as they were dressed for a nite out, however neither of them would admit it cause that is just the kind of people they are. He put my daughter back together and her mouth again was in one piece all in under an hour. After visiting just about every medical facility in the Santa Cruz area he was the only one willing and able to help us. They don't make doctors like him anymore, thanks to Dr. Mitchell my daughter was at the boardwalk by 8 o'clock that night enjoying what little time was left of the day with her teammates. Jane is amazing! We went in for our first consultation with our 11year old. Getting both our schedules to work together is a daily struggle, but we made it happen for this appointment. Once there we realized our referring office did not send over what they wanted Dr Ronconi to look at in his exam. Found out we would need a full set of X-rays in order for the Dr to determine a "plan", and we'd have to make another appointment for. Not what we expected or planned for. Seeing our confusion and hearing how hard it is for us to get the same time off for appointments Jane was able to get our boy the X-rays and impressions he needed in order for the Dr to see what he needed done. The office staff was so friendly, each and everyone of them. We still have to go back, however we will have everything needed for the appointment. I was referred to Dr. Ronconi from my pediatric dentist from the first office visit it was so pleasant and it just got better from there Barbara is so helpful with explaining everything and helped my 11 year old feel so comfortable we also met Dr. Ronconi he took the time to talk to us both the first visit that was so comforting and my daughter was set on him being her orthodontist the X-ray tech went above and beyond my daughter loved her and not to mention the little gifts she received even though our insurance is out of network they still explained everything and how it all works out at the end when I called my insurance they also confirmed the same thing. One of the best practices in the area! I scheduled a consultation during the peak of the pandemic and the staff were always accommodating. Dr. Ronconi has great bedside manner and creates a rapport with each of his patients. He is very knowledgeable and thorough in his work. The staff is very friendly and you can tell that they love their job. The office provides payment plans, so this helped me make this investment towards bettering my bite and smile. The appointments run smoothly and promptly, as there is minimal waiting time. My treatment plan has changed since I first started, but Dr. Ronconi respects my wishes to perfect my smile with Invisalign refinements. One of the most efficient and well ran offices I've ever visited. I don't think I've ever been to a medical/dental office that ran so smoothly. They actually answers their phone, they returns calls, and stick to their appointment schedules. I am used to waiting 30+ minutes in the waiting area and having to make multiple calls to reach the front desks at other offices. Not here, everyone is very welcoming, knowledgeable, and professional. They answer questions and check to see if you are understanding what is going on every step of the way. Jane explained each option in further detail, using video simulations to help me envision the steps for each option presented to me.
