Mayo clinic lies over diagnosis if you have good insurance they can bill ( proven by my pathology reports aftet surgery) which mg primary care doctor was able yo obtain...Mayo clinic surgeon went against my choice while I was under anethesia- when my daughter reminded him he said: QUOTE: "she has nothing to say about this , I have decided!" He made a few tests to be sure there were no other issues that would cause future problems. ............He explained every test and procedure to my satisfaction ............. then we made the date for my hemorrhoid banding, which went exceedingly well............... We even laughed at my comments about his "chosen profession" as I was slipping under the affects of anesthesia. ............. Conclusion? I would recommend Dr. G in a heartbeat. He's patient, humorous, knowledgeable, and kind. Yes, I think he's great and if I ever need this kind of surgery again, he's the doctor for me.

Got a call three days before they wanted to change my appointment to 2:40pm or reschedule in two weeks. I had to jump through a LOT of hoops to be able to get there by 2:40pm but I did. The day of my appointment I got a call at 12:45pm. They said I had to be there by 1:30pm or we had to reschedule in two weeks. I asked why and the very rude office girl told me Dr. Castilla was a surgeon and does whatever she wants. Now after all that they expect me to reschedule? I am going to find another surgeon. If they treat me like this for an initial consultation imagine how they will be scheduling surgery.

My son lost his life on the 23rd day post op because Dr. Maria Castilla performed a surgery beyond the scope of practice. Her arrogance took my son's life.
