On my first visit, Trinity helped me select a range of beautiful tops, jeans, and dresses to try on. She was incredibly attentive without ever being pushy, and she instinctively understood what would work for me. I found so many flattering pieces in my size that I knew I had to come back the next day. When I returned, Christine was there and made the experience just as exceptional. She introduced me to even more stunning pieces and offered honest, thoughtful feedback on how everything looked--something I truly value and rarely find. With her help, I left with two fabulous blouses and the perfect summer jeans. What truly sets this boutique apart is its incredible selection and inclusivity. They carry a wide range of sizes (jeans from 23 to 32+), and the assortment feels both curated and unique--especially the dresses, many from designers I hadn't seen anywhere else. Equally impressive is their no-pressure approach. It's so refreshing to shop in a space where the focus is on helping you feel your best rather than making a sale. The boutique has an easy, elevated Malibu vibe--yet it's right here in Woodland Hills, perfectly situated in the Woodland Hills Country Mart. I genuinely cannot wait to bring my friends back. Kudos to the entire team--this is a rare gem.

The pricing was vague, and there was no clear transparency about what I was actually being charged for. What started as what seemed like a straightforward service quickly turned into an unexpectedly high bill that made no sense for the work performed. It genuinely felt like I was being taken advantage of. The most concerning part of the experience was dealing with the owner, Dereck. When I calmly brought up my concerns and asked for clarification on the charges, instead of addressing them honestly, he became defensive and continued to push explanations that simply didn't add up. It felt like he was more focused on justifying the overcharge than actually resolving the issue or taking accountability. There was no effort to make things right--just a lot of backtracking, inconsistent explanations, and what came across as outright dishonesty. As a customer, that leaves a terrible impression. You expect at the very least honesty and integrity, especially when you're trusting someone with your belongings and your money. Overall, the entire experience left me feeling cheated and disrespected. I would strongly advise others to be cautious if considering this place. There are plenty of businesses out there that value their customers and operate with transparency--unfortunately, this was not one of them.

One of the best boutiques ever. There are locations in Calabasas, Studio City, Del Rey, Westlake,…read moreVentura, and Agoura Hills. The stores are limited to Southern California; so, when I first moved to Los Angeles and began to explore (shopping is an activity that I just can't help but do everyday, whether I had it in mind to do or I had a full day in my "planner" ...actually, back in 2007, I did have a big "At-a-Glance" planner with an entire page per day... Anyway, I stumbled upon the Calabasas Commons because I had looked up in that app, "Around Me" and found that close to one of my three jobs I worked while going to School for my Doctorate, the Calabasas Commons was on my way home from work to where I lived in West Hollywood. I stopped by right away because it mentioned a Barnes & Noble being one of the stores there. First, I spotted M. Fredrick. I saw those gorgeous, hand-picked by their buyer. I didn't realize quite how much less expensive ever was in LA compared to San Francisco. Now, this many years later, it's no longer a thought nor a thing because I've lived here so long, but it was astonishing to me back when I was freshly 22. I picked out about 20-25 pieces of the most beautiful jeans, sweaters, shirts, shoes, tank tops and dresses. I also bought a pair of sweatpants that felt like thick silk, but mostly, like a white tiger- they were the first thing I bought the next morning on my break from work; so, I vividly remember that they were $600 before tax, which, to be honest, I did think they were on the pricey side, but I didn't think of it again. The many items I had purchased the afternoon prior came to almost $23,000, but I never ever in my life looked at prices of anything, so, it was no thing and to this day, I remember probably 7/8ths of what I bought. The clothes were definitely worth it and I would do it again, even now. The only problem is that they don't make clothes how they used to. We don't have the materials or aren't willing to use them on designer boutique clothing. Every chance I could, I went to an M. Fredric store for the next 10 years.
