Then we asked her politely if she could find out what was in it, and she said, "what?" By this point I was already so annoyed. When she came back she really put the cherry on top of the sundae was telling us "the bento box comes with salad, a miso soup, and rice of course!" The she gave us a bad attitude when we decided not to order it. Even worse, she hardly came to check up on us, and when I asked her for the check she looked confused again. It was just a miserable dining experience. The prices were very expensive as well. The menu didn't explain exactly what you got, and it was again so old and dirty. For the food alone, this place would have gotten four stars (even with the expensive prices,) but the service was so terrible that I could almost safely say that this was one of the worst nights of my life.

It took another half an hour for us to get our drinks and put in our food orders. When that did happen, one of the appetizers we ordered was sold out. (I know this happens, but they included it on our bill at the end of the meal). When our entrees did come out, they brought the wrong entree for my girlfriend and she had to wait another 20 minutes for her food (sashimi). All told it was almost 3 hours from the time we were seated until we were able to pay the check. I'm sure some people would not mind not being rushed, but when this length is due to your table largely being ignored and continuous mistakes being made by the staff it is very frustrating. All we were offered was a "we are very sorry! This is not normal. Please give us another chance." I don't see this happening as our customer experience was so poor. The only reason for this being two stars is the food is actually good as well as the ambiance. And although that combination is a majority of the experience the service and professionalism was so poor I can't in good conscience recommend this establishment to anyone.
