The staff does such a good job of keeping everything moving. Even when you walk in and there's a line that looks intimidating, it ends up flowing way faster than you'd expect. Checking in feels organized, smooth, and actually reassuring. They make it very clear that they're there to set you up for success, not stress you out. What I appreciate most is how mindful they are about breaks and personal comfort. They really want you to take your time, breathe, reset, and not feel rushed to jump back into the exam. They're super efficient at noticing if someone needs the restroom or if another bathroom needs to be opened. It feels like they're quietly watching out for everyone in a way that makes the whole environment feel safe and supported. Even checking out at the end is quick and simple, almost like a palate cleanser after the mental marathon you just went through. I also had a moment where my phone was accidentally left on and started vibrating in the locker. The staff handled it in such a calm and professional way. The woman just gently asked for my key, turned it off for me, and let me know it happens all the time. I felt bad, but she made it so easy that I walked away really grateful for how patient and human they are. Great testing center! Free parking lot with ample spaces available. Two private bathrooms (no key…read morerequired) down the hall. It shares space with a Sylvan learning center which I was initially worried about (thought it might be noisy) but it was very quiet (took exam in the summer). They also have lockers that are pretty spacious and fit a water bottle and bag with snacks, etc. The staff were very friendly. Inside the testing room, it was quiet and they had a fan blowing for additional white noise. The temperature was comfortable, I would estimate around 70. I had no technical difficulties. They supply over-ear headphones if your exam requires audio and over-ear industrial noise cancelling headphones, but I would recommend bringing your own foam earplugs as well. For my exam I got a laminated piece of paper to write on with an Expo marker, which you can trade for more sheets during the exam. Definitely come early to check in, the earlier you arrive the sooner you begin your exam. Before entering they will ask you to empty your pockets, pull up the bottom of your pants to show anything around your ankles, pull up your sleeves to show your wrists, inspect your glasses, and turn a few times. It adds an additional 1-2 min. You can bring a few approved items into the exam room depending on your exam - things like foam ear plugs, chapstick, even a clear plastic water bottle, tissues etc. I was there for a very long 8+ hour day and it went smoothly. They change staff about halfway through the day. If you want to check out the center in advance, I recommend signing up for a practice test if your exam offers this. Good luck!

The lagging and screens going blank have been going on for months and it's been costing students exam time. They will tell you that your time is not running out but it 100% is RUNNING OUT. I kept track of my time and I lost minimum 20 minutes. Original review: if I could give this place a 0 I would. As soon as I checked in for my exam the lady told me "if the computer lags just wait for it, it will eventually work", which was a huge red flag but I had to take my test. The computer didn't just lag between questions, the screen went completely blank multiple times during my test. When I asked for help they told me to wait for the page to load and that my time wasn't running out. Turns out my time was in fact running during those lags and during the complete black out screens. They told me that the ONLY thing they can do for me is to report this issue for me, which they didn't do. As a medical student I have taken many MANY proctored exams before but I have never been in a shittier situation during an exam. I lost nearly 20 minutes of exam time (which is HUGE considering that I only get 1.5 minutes per question). This exam is part of my licensing so it's a huge deal for me to pass it on the first try, yet the center did NOTHING about it. They continue to proctor exams with their ancient computers for profit while jeopardizing the future of many students. I will be reporting this center and their behavior to every possible entity and I hope they get shut down.

Considering the long hours of sitting and test-taking to come, I was really nervous about how comfortable I would be here in this space I'v e never been before. Upon entering I was greeted by Brittany with a very friendly, calming energy. She helped me figure out the do's and don'ts on test day and really made me feel welcome. Furthermore, before the security checks I encountered Edgar who was very professional and detailed on what would happen and if I had scheduled or unscheduled breaks. Since my test was so long Joe ended up taking over Edgar's shift and he was also very helpful and efficient at his job. I really enjoyed how comfortable the chairs were and the cleanliness, comfort, and cool temperature of this Prometric test taking center. The bathrooms were also private and clean. I've taken tests at multiple Prometric testing centers, and this was by far the worst experience…read moreI've had compared to how kind, professional, and accommodating the staff have been at other locations. The two young female staff members working at this location were incredibly rude and condescending throughout the testing process. Given that standardized tests can already be extremely anxiety-inducing, I found their demeanor to be particularly off-putting and unprofessional. I understand that testing centers have strict policies that need to be followed, but those policies can be communicated respectfully and professionally. Additionally, I brought a water bottle with a non-spill sports cap so that I could easily drink water during the test. In the middle of my exam, one of the staff members interrupted me to tell me to close the lid. Being interrupted during an already stressful, timed examination for something as minor as this was extremely distracting and, in my opinion, could have easily been handled during a less disruptive moment. The physical testing environment also left a lot to be desired. The door to the testing area is extremely loud, and every time someone entered or exited, the door would loudly bang. This happened repeatedly throughout the exam and was very distracting. For a testing center where concentration is essential, I would expect basic measures such as a soft-closing mechanism or other solution to minimize unnecessary noise. Finally, there is only one bathroom stall at this location. Considering that many people begin their exams around the same time and have scheduled breaks at similar times, it seems inadequate for the number of test-takers the center accommodates. It would not be surprising for test-takers to have to wait in line during their limited breaks, which creates an unnecessary additional source of stress. Overall, I found this testing center to be significantly less professional and accommodating than other Prometric locations I have used. I hope these concerns are taken seriously, particularly the staff conduct and repeated environmental distractions, as both can have a meaningful impact on a test-taker's ability to perform to the best of their ability.

Just a follow up that I also called the GRE company (ETS) after testing to let them know what…read morehappened, that I reported the tech issues to the proctor after the test, and emailed them about it. They said that they could not find any report of the proctor reporting it to them, which prometric said is untrue when I called them. Since no one informed me that "report any issues to the proctor" is only for during the test to them or that I had the option not to submit scores. ETS made the decision not to allow me a free retest, so I had to pay for another test, which I chose to do from home. So to reiterate - DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY FOR TESTING!

First, the proctor made me take the test at the end of the line just because I did not present passport as my verification. However, the ETS.org clearly stated what verification I can use and I followed that. This suggests that some proctors don't fully know the rules and are not prepared for some situations that could happen. Secondly the dividers between the computers are made out of cardboard box and are poor at shielding sounds. The dividers were not attaced to the desk and moved when I touched them! The testing center was so poor that I wondered whether the owner of the test center has some relation to Prometric's owner. That testing place is an outlier and should not offer services. Finally, test takers pay the same testing price to ETS and Prometic regardless of the test center. Why not test at a better place? Why ruin your $150 test on purpose? Test takers beware!

I started my youngest so here because I felt his previous school did not do justice to him when it came to teaching him. He fell behind. Then covid hit and it became worse. I was so sad for him and it made me cry. I decided one day to give Sylvan a try knowing what it did for my sister and I growing up. Needless to say, my son has grown so much and has gained this unprecedented confidence towards learning like never before. He is now reading little things here and there, has met his goals and passed some in school and sylvan. He used to cry when you mention homework, now he gets to it before I do. After seeing his progree, I also enrolled his older brother. Same result. He has always been a studious kid, but statred lacking amidst covid. His parent-teacher conference recently showed my how well sylvan has really helped him improve. His teacher was so very proud of his quick progree and turn-around. He is happy and his confidence in himself has returned and that makes me even more happy. The computers are outdated imo; the quality of the pixels on the screen (or maybe it's the testing program) is poor. The reason why I gave it 3 stars is because the location was absolutely horrible for me. A friend who had taken a test at this location prior had forewarned me that the location is very sketchy and run-down. So, I thought I came ready and prepared, knowing what to look for. Nope! I arrived and was very confused if I was in the right location or not. It didn't look like any businesses would be located here, and I didn't see any big signs (there's a very faded plaque with room numbers if you look closely), no people walking around. I walked around briefly and thought, this can't be it. So I looked on google maps again and it almost looked like the red pin was on the other side of the street, behind the building I was at....so I took off in my car and drove to the other side. Nope, that was indeed a school LOL. It was fenced, so I couldn't walk back to the other side. So...I had to drive back to the other side and run around looking for the test room again. I ended up being slightly late but it didn't seem to matter since it took a long time for everyone else who arrived before me to check in. Tips: - I wouldn't leave any valuables in your car, take them with you since they allow each examinee a locker. Even though the test instructions mention not to bring anything into the exam, I think they should have made it clear that they mean the actual exam room, not the test center. - Look up the building on google maps. Long, old, run-down building. PSI exam room is upstairs. - Don't wear any outerwear with pockets or a hood. You'll have to put it in your locker. Dress in layers.

I get test anxiety. The owner and the employees are friendly and fast. They don't act overtly strict or too lax. It's just right. I recommend this testing center alongside Edugo in DTLA to everyone. I'm personally not a fan of the Pearson Professional Centers due to their professionalism and overall customer service.
