She recommended Kathy Kerstein as my daughter's English teacher. We moved our family on July 28, 2017. It's a Friday. My daughter Yiyi started Kathy's one to one class for the whole summer and once-twice a week during the school year. Apparently, she did extremely good at her ENGLISH LEARNER'S class. She moved on with Kathy's help, she got into Stanford's summer school, UCSB Research Mentoring Program. Not only was he able to tutor both calculus AP and Physics AP, he had an engaging personality one doesn't often see in the math and science folks and a good sense of humor to boot. With Alex's help my brother is much more confident in both courses and is getting through these two very difficult classes with an A in Calculus AP and a B+ in Physics AP. (hopefully it will be an A soon). I can't speak for other tutors but for Alex i'd give 6 stars if i was able to.

He was so flexible and accommodating since it was very last minute and I also work. I have had two sessions with him since and it was great! He met me at the library right near my house which was really convenient. I was really struggling in the first session and he even stayed for an extra hour to help make sure I was ready for my quiz the next day. I went into the session not knowing anything about pre-calc or trigonometry and I got a 12/10 on my quiz the next day. I would definitely recommend PV tutors to anyone in the South Bay!
