Chloe was always responsive and really pushed for the evaluation to be reviewed in its entirety. During my son's IEP meeting, Chloe stood-up for my son in a way that brought tears to my eyes. It is rare to find people who are as dedicated to their profession, but that also genuinely care about the population that they serve. Because of her dedication and support during the IEP process, I decided to have my son attend speech therapy with Language and Literacy Group--even though we live far away, and our insurance does not cover these services. In the 3.5 months that my son has been attending therapy with Chloe and Molly, he has made noticeable progress in the way he expresses himself and his desire to communicate more with peers and his family. I will forever be grateful for their support and for being a part of my son's development and growth.

We called PVP Test Prep and talked to Jim, who invited us to come right in. In a single hour-long interview, my daughter learned more from Jim about test taking than she had from previous tutors. She attended two sessions a week, did the assigned homework, and at the end of summer, took the ACT. She scored a 30, a 6-point improvement over her initial scores on sample tests. My daughter has just committed to UC Santa Cruz, the school she was hoping for. We couldn't be more pleased with PVP Test Prep.

Our 6 year old daughter has been thriving in her private Jade Chinese School lessons over the past…read morefew months. It's been especially meaningful since mom is a native mandarin speaker and we've wanted to build on that home foundation. Starting with basic exposure from family conversations, she's blossomed under the guidance of a warm and creative teacher who uses animated stories, interactive flashcards, and even dance moves to teach vocabulary like colors, animals, and family terms. A standout breakthrough moment happened recently when we were practicing fruit-related vocabulary, tying into fun snack times at home. She'd been able to name simple fruits like apple but hesitated to form full sentences, often mixing tones or reverting to English out of uncertainty. The teacher is willing to engage with her using photos, interactive props, or simply writing on our marker board asking "What fruit do you like to eat? It all clicked when she eagerly responded to her dad (who joined the session), saying "I like to eat apples and bananas, dad likes them too" with spot-on tones and a delighted laugh. That joyful tie-in to our family routines boosted her enthusiasm, and now she's incorporating fruit phrases into our daily chats, even "bargaining" playfully in Chinese at mealtime. For other parents, especially those with a Chinese-speaking family member, these lessons highlight how tailored, fun approaches can enhance home language exposure and unlock potential in young learners, even if progress feels gradual at first. It's built her listening skills, sparked deeper cultural ties, and made learning a family highlight. If you're thinking of starting, go for it--it's been a game-changer for us!
