The teachers worked very closely with my son and also provided him with a math tutoring for 2 years at no additional cost. He ended up graduating a year early!! He loved his time at the school, lots of adventure, great teachers and good friends. He is now enjoying a year off before starting College in 2025. My daughter has been attending since 1st grade and is now a freshman (9th grade) she has held a 4.0 GPA, she loves going to school and is really enjoying her electives, she is taking ELA and Literature. She was elected Student President 2 years in a row! She really loves her teacher, the one on one help she gets as well as the smaller class sizes that allow her to get more time with the teachers and she has full access to additional tutoring in any subject she needs. Extremely please with this school and love the amazing staff and Executive Director.

Unbelievable!!! They take your money and leave your child in education ruin. SCHOOL IS NOT CCSD ACCREDITED that's a huge red flag. No parent identification is required to enroll your child and the child doesn't need legal documents or immunization records. There's less than 20 kids that attend from k-12th and the school breaks it up into 2 class rooms primary and secondary. Your child will not be issued standard text books for this/her grade level. STAY AWAY!!!!

That is all this complaint is about, your staff are excellent and do a great job teaching our daughter. It's 50 dollars that you never earned. And as not being a named customer, do you need everyone's name from the family..I pay the tutor bills too.

Plus since they're only in first grade, it's just what we do as part of the elementary school process. My husband grew up on the in New Jersey school systems, and Miss G's 's approach reminds him very much of the discipline and curriculum he's accustomed to. Well, most days it's like pulling teeth for my kids, They get it done, and the progress has definitely shown. Both of them are pretty advanced for their math levels only several months into the school year. They are also definitely quicker than I am at adding and subtracting. Both of their teachers have also said that they'll definitely be well into multiplication before the school year is over. I definitely recommend the iPad approach personally- For our lifestyle which is constantly on the go and often on vacations. It's a good way of having them remain responsible and accountable to their work. Looking forward to seeing how this strong foundation reflects in the future.

Disregard the review of this school being a Christian school. It's absolutely not. We have…read moreexperienced this school teaching our children many different religions. That is because it's a classical academy and it's purely using America's history and how we were founded as a country. Christianity is definitely part of that history. If you're looking for more inclusivity for this day and age stuff I wouldn't enroll your child in a "classical" academy.

Founders Classical Academy Las Vegas…read more Our family's experience with Founders Academy has been deeply disappointing and troubling. Based on our interactions with school leadership, we do not feel that this school respects its students or their parents, particularly families from the Black community. We raised a serious concern after our son was spoken to by a teacher using language we found inappropriate and unacceptable. When we attempted to address the issue directly and respectfully, our concerns were dismissed and redirected rather than acknowledged. Despite clearly communicating the urgency of the matter to school leadership, we were ignored for days before a meeting was finally scheduled. When we did meet with leadership, instead of being heard, we were repeatedly interrupted, talked over, and made to feel as though our concerns were invalid. Our child's experience was dismissed outright, despite the fact that students were the only witnesses present during the incident. The focus was consistently shifted away from the actual issue and onto controlling the conversation rather than resolving the problem. Most alarming was the escalation by a member of leadership, who accused my husband of being aggressive simply for using his hands while speaking and went so far as to threaten to call the police. This was completely unwarranted and deeply disturbing. For Black families, threats of law enforcement are not just inappropriate they are intimidating and harmful. No parent calmly advocating for their child should ever be treated this way. Unfortunately, this behavior reflects a pattern. Prior interactions with the same administrator have been marked by rudeness, condescension, and a lack of professionalism. At no point did we feel respected, supported, or valued as parents. A school should be a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for children and families. Based on our experience, Founders Academy failed to meet that standard. We strongly caution other parents especially Black families to carefully consider whether this is a school environment where their voices will truly be heard and their children treated with dignity.

The teachers have been great, front desk Staff have all been courteous to me. we enjoyed the Pre-K. Hot lunch and Photos are reasonably priced. Currently, my baby is attending (Under 1 year). As a kitchen worker, I do appreciate that they label all food with the child's name and date. I also like to receive the daily slips so I know if she napped, pooped, etc. I believe the ratio is 5 babies max to a worker. I see new staff often, but for the baby room it's the same people for the most part. Maybe one new person every once in a while. I appreciate this for my baby because she takes a while to warm up to someone new. With my infant and toddler both having attended this school, I have been very happy with my experience. My eldest was sad to leave Northshore and go to kindergarten. There is only one thing I have desired that Northshore hasn't been able to provide: weekend operation. I believe they tried offering it before but there was not enough demand. I am a chef and a nurse assistant , either job requires working weekends. it has been a struggle requesting AM shift as well as weekends off. Just FYI if you are an essential worker or work in the hospitality industry. I have turned down many employment opportunities due to this, but ive tried other daycares and they just arent the same compared to Northshore! :)
