During this meeting with Suzanne, I felt comfortable that she had a wealth of information about standardized testing and about math-kids who need help with reading. This told me that my daughter had good reason to be concerned. The teacher berated my child and attempted to say my daughter lied. She did not want to honor her accommodations listed on her PsychEd testing. She was rigid and unflexible. Mostly, she was very visibly angry and scared me and my child. My 16 y.o. daughter was more professional than the adult, however, she left the meeting shaken and scared. Learning should be fun, not scary. No one should treat a child (or anyone) this way.
