Reliable Tutoring - Scribblar is the online tutoring platform I use. I simply send a link for the Scribblar "room" and the student can open it in a web browser.

I would give Cameron a 10 if I could. I found him on Craig's List and he responded right away to my…read morerequest for help. Here's the scenario: Fall 2019 semester with my third attempt at passing the required stats class for my degree, This was literally the very last class I needed. If I didn't pass this time, I was not going back. My university was out of state, my class was online and while there was an instructor, he was more of a moderator. The platform was Pearson MyStatLab. I am not the brightest light in the shed when it comes to stats and my light was getting dimmer and dimmer with my pre-Cameron tutor. Just like this was my third attempt at the class, Cameron was my third tutor and finally, "The One". My first tutor wanted to just show me everything on his phone. The second tutor had children I could hear fighting in the background. With Cameron, even though we were online screen sharing, and on the phone, there was never any background noise. If I needed a visual, which was quite often, we would use Scribblar. There were instances when my brain just came to a screeching halt and my head would hit the desk, but Cameron with the patience of Job, would wait for me to come up with the solution. When it just wasn't there, I would tell him, and he would guide me to the answer. We stayed on task. We got the work done. He very patiently waited for me to take screen shots so I could use them as visual aids. He sent me tips through e-mail. I passed my third exam, even though I'm sure I stopped breathing at some point before that exam, and the class even after I failed the first two exams. Here's to you Cameron with my eternal thanks. I will never forget: "If the p is low, the null must go." You're the Best!

We are very fortunate to find Cameron as the math tutor for my two sons. Cameron has been my son's…read moretutor for two years. He is very professional, patient, organized, and detailed. He came to each class well-prepared. He has the ability to explain complicated problems in an easy way. He knows the subject very well and is always willing to tailor his classes to each student's special needs. He is also very knowledgeable and can teach any subject from math, physics, and chemistry, to computer science. He takes the tutoring job very seriously and took special classes from CU so he can be well prepared for the job. We tried several different tutors. Cameron is clearly the best.

Nita June is amazing! She was instrumental in helping both of our very different sons get into the…read moreperfect schools for each of them. Her balance of structure, communication, and energy made each process as stress-free as possible and with material personal attention and progress throughout. When I refer to stress-free, I'm talking for both my sons and my wife and me! Nita is caring and skilled, and she brought out the best in both of our kids. Her encouragement in the writing process for the many essays at many schools led to more creative and insightful narratives. She's a chameleon for different types of students. Our oldest had more of a sense of where he wanted to go and what he wanted to study but wasn't naturally self-driven to get the work done. So for him, Nita masterfully broke down the assignments to make them achievable, and he never complained about having work to do (still trying to figure out this particular magic myself!). He's now a rising Senior at the University of Washington and love it. Our other son is more self-driven to get work done but had very little sense for what he wanted in a school. Nita supported his research on so many different academic, social, and other fronts to first illuminate questions he should ask on college visits and then narrow down his list based on the information he acquired. Now, he's about to enter his Freshman year at Dartmouth College and is so excited! Throughout the process, Nita was supportive and encouraging yet firm. Outside of my wife and me, she was our boys' biggest cheerleader, celebrating all of their successes as enthusiastically as we did. I highly recommend Nita for anyone who is looking for a truly gifted college counselor.
