The…read moreowner, Grace, helped me prepare for my GRE's for grad school and was instrumental in my improved math scores. She specializes in strategic test taking and test anxiety, which are the two tools you need the most when taking a timed exam. Grace has over four years of formal teaching experience and then eight years of tutoring experience. Math is not an easy subject to learn, and not easy to teach, but she makes it simple and fun, and follows up with students to make sure that they fully understand the concepts. Like I said, she is awesome at finding ways to set students up for success and eliminate test anxiety while highlighting and simplifying test taking into strategies and time management. She also has an amazing tutoring staff that available via Skype or in person, and are very flexible with scheduling. They also make sure to be available via text if you have any questions, which I haven't seen before. The "Student Lounge" itself is lofty, large, and very clean, with free coffee and snacks if you need them. There's also free parking in front, and a Sprouts Market down the street. The big tables are perfect for group work. I'd recommend working at this place to any student who lives in the area - it's like doing homework at your cool older sister's office...and your older sister is also a math wizard willing to help you out!

Our premium tutoring services are individually tailored to each students' needs, and we specialize in standardized test prep with well developed curriculums to help with test taking skills and test anxiety. Our tutors take their jobs as not only academic teachers but also mentors very seriously. It's these relationships with their students that enable our students to thrive in school and develop a love for learning. We implement skills such as smart test taking, organized studying, and overcoming test anxiety into all of our tutoring on top of helping with content mastery. And best of all, our tutors are available to help between appointments via text and video chat. Our South Broadway location is completely FREE for all students to use. Think of this space as a Starbucks-library-tutoring center hybrid. It has everything you could need to get your work done after school.

My kids (ages 6 and 8) have attended camps during spring break and summer and they both LOVE it!…read moreThey offer small group, hands-on activities with different themes every week. The staff are all friendly and Ms. Idil who runs it is very knowledgeable and good with the kids. She even recognized that my son has a knack and love for math and offered to provide him some extra worksheets to keep his mind challenged during the summer months. Only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the camps are only from 9a-3p and I have to pay extra to be able to have them there from 8a-4p (and even that requires that my husband and I split drop-off and pick-up to accommodate our 8-hour work days). If I could give 4.5 stars, I would :-) (Note that I am not offering a review on their tutoring services, only the camps)

I completely agree with the prior review: my kids have not taken tutoring here but did attend camp…read more My 5yo and 6yo really enjoyed the camp and want to attend on the next break. I appreciate that the camps are fun and educational, and I also appreciate that the attendees are diverse. The camps are pricier than others in the area, but they also have a small student-to-staff ratio of 6:1 that I prefer. (I find that larger ratios mean that well-intentioned adults don't always know what all the kids are saying/doing and my little ones pick up habits that I don't like). I also echo the challenge with the camp hours: 8am-4pm (with an extra daily cost for this extended care rather than 9am-3pm standard hours) is tricky for working parents. Even though the hours aren't ideal, we'll be sending our kids here again.
