Jake was great to work with and his system of providing iPads for homework and testing helped with my sons busy club soccer schedule. My son could work on drills while we drove to games or flying in trips. With the help of Jake he was able to raise his score over 100 points from his previous test. At this point my son has been accepted into every college he applied and we can thank PCH for being a bi part of that! We have worked with PCH for AP tutoring as well. I highly recommend their professional yet relatable tutors.

We've had a very positive experience with PCH Tutors this school year. Whether we were working with…read moreour study tutor or other ones who came in our hour of need, they were consistently prompt, prepared and helpful for my 12th grade son. Another plus is that the tutors are college aged, so my son could relate to them as peers who are just a few years older. They are also efficient, most tutoring sessions were an hour. As my son graduates, I'm feeling grateful.

She worked with her on every aspect of the exam from reviewing history to learning how to write impactful essays in the time imparted ; she helped her improve her studying techniques and deepened her analytical skills. In just three months, my daughter grew by leaps and bounds. I like how she was able to meet my daughter where she was, and adapted the work to where she needed to get. Kate is patient, highly skilled and funny. My daughter loved working with her and we could not be any happier to have her on our team.

She had everything under control from the minute we contacted her. She gave us all the options and matched us with the correct tutors. It was especially impressive, as some of our lessons coincided with winter break. But she made it happen!! Our son loved the lessons and left feeling confident and prepared. As a homeschooling mom, I am incredibly intentional about my daughter's education. I want her to…read moregenuinely enjoy learning, receive an elevated education, and be taught in a way that honors her individual learning style. Because of that, I am extremely selective about who I invite into her educational experience. A+ Tutoring has truly become part of my team, and I could not be more grateful. From the very beginning, they have gone above and beyond to provide exceptional support and customer service. What has impressed me most is how thoughtfully they match each child with a tutor. They genuinely take the time to understand your child's learning style, personality, needs, and goals rather than simply assigning a tutor. And if something ever needs to be adjusted, they address it immediately. In my experience, they don't just solve the issue, they somehow manage to outdo themselves in the process. Mandy and Janelle, their incredible tutor matchmakers, are exceptional. They are attentive, responsive, intuitive, and truly invested in finding the right fit for your child. I have felt incredibly supported throughout the process. And then there is our tutor, Sonya Karl, who is EXTRAORDINARY. Sonya is deeply child-centered, incredibly intelligent, emotionally intelligent, patient, warm, and genuinely gifted at connecting with children. She has such a beautiful heart, and it is evident in the way she teaches. The most meaningful measure for me is this: my daughter is not only excelling academically, she genuinely looks forward to her tutoring sessions with Sonya. That says everything. Finding the right people to support your child's education is such an important decision, especially when you are homeschooling and creating an educational experience around your child rather than asking your child to fit into a system. A+ Tutoring understands that. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found them, and even more fortunate that they connected us with Sonya. They have earned my trust, my gratitude, and my highest recommendation.

She has also gained more confidence, her instructor is very positive and encouraging. They are extremely flexible with hours/scheduling. I can always text them for a quick and easy communication rather than calling and playing phone tag. After every session I get an e-mail with notes from her instructor sharing what they covered in the lesson and how it went with a list of things she did well and things she can continue to practice. Also, the sessions are easy to use and set up, it's just a link to click in an e-mail instead of downloading or installing Zoom or any other platform on the device. If I want them to cover any specific homework assignment, workbook, skill or even state testing practice they incorporate that into the session for us. I would highly recommend them!

We met twice once for an hour and then after seeing how brilliant he was I booked my next session for 2 hours. The work that Michelle is currently doing with my daughter is definitely going to have an impact on her future with the strong foundation of studying, routine, and daily habits that will make her a stronger student, and in life, more confident in her abilities. I have already seen the confidence boost based on the improvements that my daughter has achieved after just a few weeks of working with Michelle. I'm so grateful also (as a busy working single parent who is not remotely qualified to be a certified teacher myself) that my daughter has a coach, advocate, and someone who is very very familiar with all of the latest academic standards and material to receive personalized help. So very effective. Nothing can prepare you for the emotional rush you feel when a kid you're tutoring suddenly "gets" the point you're trying to get across. I was worried because I'm not great in math, and that seems to be the place they need a lot of help...but it's really just about taking them through their work. Plus there are some good videos on the SOW site to help you through strategies (the organization really works hard to provide training and guidance, they are just fantastic).
