Einspanner Matcha latte, strawberry matcha latte

This was a cute hole-in-the-wall place with a couple of seats. The matcha was meticulously weighed out, freshly whisked, and poured to order. The strawberry matcha latte was served with a strawberry sugar coated straw. The straw was a cute idea but it was a coated paper straw so it disentigrated as the sugar melted when drinking from it. The strawberry syrup on the bottom was overpowering the matcha flavor. The einspanner matcha latte was flavorful, and matcha really was the star of the show. Would recommend this drink as a better matcha option!

I have been wanting to try this place ever since I saw it on social media a year ago and I'm so glad I finally had time to visit when I was back in town! It was a little difficult to find street parking since it's near OSU campus. The store itself is cute and relatively small with minimal seating (2 tables). The staff were friendly and patient. We ordered the seasonal banana bread matcha with oatmilk and einspanner cream top and a lavender matcha with oatmilk. The banana flavor paired so well with the matcha! The lavender matcha was also very good. I'd have to say the banana bread matcha was my favorite so I'd recommend that while it's still on the menu. Love how they hand whisk the matcha and make all the drinks in front of you! The only downside is that it was $17 total for both drinks, but it's definitely worth it for a treat yourself kinda thing!

We made a quick stop in Columbus for some matcha at Matcha Me, a cozy little shop right next to The Ohio State University. After seeing it all over social media, we knew we had to check it out. Pictured are the Banana Bread Matcha Latte and the Einspanner Latte. The matcha had a strong banana flavor that felt natural, not artificial, which I really appreciated. The Einspanner Latte was a solid iced coffee with great quality and flavor. The service was fast and great. She answered all of our questions and the matcha came out very quick right after ordering. If you're ever near campus, definitely stop by and give them a try!

Matcha Me is a cute little shop north of campus. It is small inside with a couple tables, but good lighting. Drinks were overall great! I would have preferred if the banana bread had a little more sweetness to it, but still enjoyed my drink. The staff is very pleasant and provided great recommendations based on your general taste.

This place is walkable from the OSU campus and had a very college-y crowd. Frankly I'm surprised that college students can afford close to $10 for a beverage, though many of them appeared to be accompanied by parental units. Ordering a strawberry matcha got me an aesthetically pleasing set of layers. I couldn't quite get the flavors to mix the way I wanted to, but it was interesting. It apparently comes iced by default, so I gave my leftover ice time to melt before I really got all of the strawberry at the bottom. There were a couple of pastry-type options, but the drinks are the main reason to come.

Their matcha is soooooo yummy! I have a hard time finding good matcha sometimes but theirs is always so delicious. It's small inside with a couple of tables but the vibes are super clean and good. The workers are super friendly and answered any questions I had. I'm super excited to try their other matcha lattes

This is my favorite matcha place in Columbus. Their matcha rivals matcha that I have had in Japan, they have great flavor options and their plain matcha is equally delicious. The baristas are all very friendly and make your drink in front of you.

Large Matcha Latte with Oat Milk, Honey, and Extra Matcha ($9.75)

Highlight: Large Matcha Latte with Oat Milk, Honey, and Extra Matcha ($9.75) Powdery, not very creamy, and more on the grassy side. Tastes more like matcha tea than latte. I added honey and it might be throwing off the taste because it wasn't blended in with the matcha. There's a sweet aftertaste rather than a sweet taste as you're drinking it. Hospitality: Nice baristas and drink came out about 5 minutes after ordering. Honorable Mention: Small shop with two tables.

They've been on my list since I've seen posts about them on IG. My friend and I were walking around the neighborhood and stopped by. It's a tiny space. Two tables with a couple chairs but the register is right by the door so it can get tight if there's too many people inside. I ordered the strawberry matcha while my friend opted for the matcha with a vanilla cream on top, called the Einspinner. Pretty looking drinks! I didn't think my drink had as strong of a matcha flavor as my friends. So I did like hers a bit more but I'm glad both drinks weren't too sweet. They only served the drinks iced so I'm wondering if they could make them hot. They have a lot of info about their matcha on their website and IG if you're interested. It seems to be of high quality! I will come back to try other stuff from their menu.

This new matcha cafe specializes in lattes and handcrafted matcha drinks! You can choose from refreshing options like their strawberry matcha latte, which also came with a cool, edible strawberry flavored straw, or their Einspänner matcha latte. I wished the strawberry flavor was a bit stronger for the strawberry matcha but the strawberry definitely added more strawberry flavor to it. The Einspänner matcha was very creamy and not too sweet. You could tell they definitely put a lot of effort and craft into the matcha tea. If you're not into matcha, they also offer non-matcha options like their salted honey latte or Einspänner latte. Service was quick since there were not many people. If you're looking for baked goods, they have pop tarts and croissants They are a small shop that's tucked away on the street. There are two small tables with seating if you want to enjoy the drink indoors. Would be a good place to stop by if you're in the N High Street area!

Ohio's best matcha! Seriously the cutest little matcha shop. Simple menu but I wanted to try everything. I ordered an iced strawberry matcha with oat milk and it was delicious. The matcha is high quality - ceremonial grade - and tastes amazing. They also have homemade poptarts that looked delicious. There are two little tables with chairs inside - a bright and happy space to work. Can't wait to come back!

The service was super friendly, and the ambiance was great!! Such a cute place. I originally came for matcha, but the coffee sounded so good. I got the espresso milk with hazelnut cream and cocoa powder and it was so delicious! 10/10 recommend.

I really wanted to like this place. The service was good. To my knowledge they use ceremonial grade matcha, and their menu looked unique and appetizing. I love matcha, so I was excited. I got the strawberry matcha latte, but it was disappointingly bad. The strawberry syrup/puree was way too strong and artificial, overpowering the slightly bitter matcha. The flavors didn't go well together at all. They also provide sugar-based straws, which is a cute gimmick for the first 30 seconds until it starts disintegrating in your mouth and drink. In the end I was finishing my drink from a tube of broken sugar shards. The quality of the sugar was also very poor and grainy, and did not go well with the flavors of the drink. This is a very small store with only 2-3 tables for seating and a very low ceiling. It was not ventilated very well when I went, but that may be due to how cold it's been and management trying to keep heat in.

    Strawberry matcha. Brown sugar matcha.

Finally got to try Tertulia and absolutely loved it!! First of all, the pastry selection, both…read moresavory and sweet, looked delectable and I'll definitely be back to try the focaccia and macarons. This time, I went with the My Way (iced) and it was unlike any coffee I've had. With subtly sweet orange cold foam and a rich caramel sauce, this was a combo I would not have thought of but went together perfectly. The seating area is perfect for a chat or some studying, and the late night hours on the weekends make it a perfect spot to do just that. The staff were very friendly and helpful, bringing out drinks to the table as well. Looking forward to my next visit!

A friend told me about this new spot a few weeks ago and I was finally able to pay them a visit…read moreover Thanksgiving weekend. My sister and I had just finished up lunch and wanted a sweet treat and some caffeine to keep our afternoon going. The space itself looks great. For the longest time this corner was home to a vacant building and they put a lot of work into it. The side where you order is fairly small but on the other side of the wall is a good sized lounge area. Perfect for getting work done, catching up with friends, etc. I ordered the super trendy strawberry matcha and a pistachio raspberry macaron. Both were worth coming back for. The strawberry matcha had a delicious strawberry jam with a cold foam on top. I could tell the matcha wasn't the lowest grade option you could get because it tasted very smooth. The macaron was absolutely gorgeous and much bigger than the average. Both sides of the macaron were big and the amount of filling inside was amazing. Very flavorful but not over-bearing. It was also extremely photogenic. My sister enjoyed her goodies, too. She went with a hot chocolate and a cinnamon macaron and said she was a fan. They are Latinx-owned and women-owned, which I love to see. I will definitely be back to try more things and fingers crossed this spot sticks around for a while!
