Finally got the call that it was ready at the end of April 2014 two days before I left for a two week vacation in Aruba. They called several times and I told them I would be out of town. When I arrived back home it took week or so to get the trailer lined up and get there to pick up . On arrival I was given the bill for over $1700, $250 of which was charged storage for the prior 3 weeks, $100 shop supplies, $75 environmental disposal fees?, $75 miscellaneous fee?. When I asked about these fees, one of the owners, Leon, got upset and yelled at me "Do you want the boat back or not?". On top of all this I was asked to sign a form saying that all work was done satisfactorily...ha.. They couldn't even crank the motors to show me that ANYTHING had been done at all much less satisfactorily repaired!! What a way to do business.. They will never get any more of my business!

Thank God we weren't staying there. Like Joseph B., I came to hike. I mistakenly assumed this whole area is flat, and that's what I told the 9 other people in my party. I should have looked at a few more links because almost immediately there were short but steep hills - about 10 in succession just for the first 5 miles. And that's about as far as we got before we turned back. We were exhausted, but it was worth it. Even the three marathon runners in our group said it was a good workout. Start at the W. Juniper Point trailhead, not Cedar Bayou Marina, or you will miss some of the better lake views from the trail. You can follow the trail markers to Lost Loop or cut through the Marina and continue on the Loop on the west side of the Marina. Start early because it gets pretty hot mid-day in March. I'm so excited to find good hikes in N. Texas.

We caught 22 fish with the largest being 23.5" and the majority of the fish being at least 18". We will definitely be back. In fact, one of the boys wants to do another trip in a few weeks for his birthday. The company was very responsive to all emails and questions before the trip. Keep up the great work!

We did catch a couple of 1-2 ponders so I guess that meets his guarantee?? 2/3 the way through the trip our second boat breaks down. So instead of Dan coming out to tow it in they pulled our boat. So we had 7 people who did not get to fish their full time paid for. Dan was at dock and was only interested in the broken boat. Did not talk with us about lost time or guarantee. Just looked at my guide and said "well I gotta go" and left. I have fished with guides in several states and countries. Dan Barnett rates among the lowest. Would not recommend him to anyone.

Had my boat worked on 2 seasons ago in july , had carb work and lower end seals done. Had to return…read moreto his shop 4 times for the work done. Carbs were not synced correctly and lower end was leaking water into case. Last time up there which took an hour to drive . He said it was fixed, took it home and used it for 2 months then put it away for winter. Following season I could not use my boat due to foot injury . This last winter I drained the gear oil out to find water in the gear oil ! If this work had been done correctly. The amount of time spent using it ,it should be fine but it isn't. So after giving this shop enough opportunity to fix the issue and claiming it fixed and isn't. I would consider maybe taking somewhere else. Lots of grief,lots of driving and back to square one
