Only five stars because I can't give more!!…read more I cannot say enough amazing things about Fox & Fern! I recently had eight piercings done with Derek, and it was truly the most luxurious and fantastic experience. As someone who has never had a piercing, tattoo, or anything like it--and who can barely stand needles--I was incredibly nervous at first. But the moment I walked in, the ambiance and friendliness of the entire team put me completely at ease. The space is beautiful, welcoming, and unlike anything I've ever experienced in a piercing studio. What really stood out to me was how collaborative and fun the process was. Picking out my jewelry felt like creating a piece of art, with multiple staff members jumping in to help curate the perfect combination for my ear. They have the BEST jewelry selection in the entire valley--unique, high-quality pieces that you just can't find anywhere else. I've already been back multiple times because the experience is just that good. I'll continue to come back as often as I can, and I highly encourage anyone who's been thinking about getting pierced to check them out. Whether it's your first piercing or your tenth, Fox & Fern will make it special, comfortable, and unforgettable.

Everyone was extremely nice, explained things fully, answered all of my questions, and never rushed me or became annoyed. The piercing itself is very well placed, looks beautiful, and I'm very happy with it. The studio is clean and inviting, and the jewelry is gorgeous with affordable options as well as high end. I can't recommend Fox & Fern Piercing Studio enough or my piercer, Jace.

I came in last week looking for an appraisal on a family heirloom as well as a pair of diamond earrings. He took a quick peek at my items and said he wasn't going to charge me for an appraisal, told me that the family heirloom had no monetary only sentimental value, and the earrings he suggested a fair price for, which is all I really needed. We chatted a bit about jewelry and he cleaned all the diamonds I was wearing. Its hard to come by genuinely caring people these days, I will recommend this shop to anyone looking to gain knowledge on their jewelry or for professional opinion/recommendation.

No discrimination here. Two, she does not ban books and continues to support during banned book week, which for 2025 happens to be Oct. 5-11. RESIST! During discussion with another customer, Taylor mentioned the shop hosting two different book clubs, and one is currently reading 1984. Coincidence, much? Methinks not. Three, she hires homeless youth, and is the only bookbinder in Alaska. I bought a cute hand made book bag for $10, and is perfect for my knitting projects, shopping, or whatever. Once they even got together a donation for my sons school on very short notice!! This store had many great things I have come across over the last couple of years. They have lots of educational placemats (we use those for learning in our household. They also have fossil kits.... which my son loves, being that he wants to be a paleontologist when he grows up.... we have also found many other fossil type toys, books, or educational items. They have a lot of school supplies (think elementary school teacher.) Many borders & themes to help decorate the classroom. They also have girl scout badges, books, and whatnot (I really don't know anything about girl scouts, I just see the goodies there.) The science kits they have are whats on my sons wish list. He loves science and wants just about every kit in there. He also loves books. We do "worksheets" daily at home. Learning essentials has books that are great for getting the worksheets from. Again, think elementary school (sorting, matching, rhyming, counting, letters, numbers, math, reading, phonics.) I love this place, it is a staple in our shopping routine!
