One for example where I would have had to drive 2 hours each way and still negotiate . Then i called Mataga GMC which was 25 min away. I was actually going to go to Lehmer's Concord Buick, Cadillac and GMC ,but received a text and phone call from Eric Ramirez from Mataga. Eric was very pleasant dealing with and stated that he had an offer that he thought was pretty fair. Eric sent me an offer sheet to my phone which I was disappointed in the trade in offer on my 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning. I explained to Eric that I was in no hurry and I would just wait as I was not happy with the numbers. Eric suggested that I bring my truck in so that they can get a better more accurate picture of my trade. I brought my truck in since I had to pick my son up from school anyway nearby. The guys were absolutely awesome. Courteous friendly and no pressure at all. Jeffrey, Dave, Gabriel and Eric all worked as a team and by the time I got to Sharil in finance I got the numbers I was looking for. The only reason this isn't a 5 star review was that although I know they're going to detail the car fully when they do the CilaJet ceramic coating inside and out, it still would have been nice if the could have cleaned my Hummer EV SUV the way the used to back in the day. Come to think of it even my wife's Merceds EQE got a pretty shoddy detail upon delivery... seems like they just don't deliver the way they used to which is surprising cause both of these EV's my wife and I purchased are technically very pricey. Update...the owner called me personally. Was so nice, I decided to give them a second chance. Found a car I liked, wasn't the ultimate I originally wanted, but still it was a Yukon Denali. Everything went smooth purchasing the car. Salesman was cool. Everything was great...until 3 days ago. With ONLY 2600 miles on my brand new 2025 GMC YUKON DENALI lost the ability to brake!!! While driving my daughter and her two friends to cheer practice my brakes went out. I'm talking every light/every beep happened and I lost my brakes. The Onstar people messed up the tow...and now I'm without a car for the last 3 days. Sucks when I just spent that kind of money on a car to feel safe driving my family around. Let me preface that this is primarily for the Mataga service department. If it was just sales it would be 4 stars. I left on a sour note from the service department almost 10 years ago I never updated my review and I rarely went back. However, recently I bought a car from Mataga, about 3 weeks ago now, though it started a bit rocky, I ended up being impressed with David and the team. Then I had some vehicle issues with my brand new Buick Envista. The first issue which were faulty tire pressure sensors or something was handled okay. The second issue, well, let's just say i'm back to a sour note. Long story short, I start noticing a significant rattle at the hood when idling in gear. Upon my own inspection, the hood seems to be loose when closed. I could push down on the hood and hear the rattle when the vehicle wasn't running. When the vehicle idled in gear it rattled very noticeably to the point where it was very audible sitting in the cabin. Oddly enough I received a text from a Jackie from the dealership asking how things are going. I say "okay" because the vehicle had a defect that had to be fixed and now the rattle. I'm able to upload videos of the rattle to YouTube and send it to her. She advises that she is going to have a tech look at it. Later that day I get a call from Lisa, or well, a voicemail since I was at work. She says to call back. I do and I get another lady who advises she knows nothing of the call and will have Lisa call me back in the morning. The next afternoon about 3pm no call, so I called. I'm almost given the same exact story about Lisa being unavailable, but then she shows up. She then proceeds to tell me that all the Buick Envistas have this issue. She said I'm welcome to come to the dealership to "test" the other Envista's to see for myself they have the same rattle. She then tells me it's not something they can fix, that it's likely due to the 3-cylinder engine. I ask her something along the lines of, "is it because Envista is a lower quality vehicle?" She more or less agrees. She more or less then advises that maybe if GM/Buick receive enough complaints or concerns they will do something to fix it. So I say thank you, express a bit of disappointment in the quality of Buick and the call is done. I then contact Buick via social media sending the videos of the rattle. Upon asking if that rattling is something to be expected with Buick. They say it is not an expected issue and that something may be done to reduce the vibration at the hood. They advise me to seek resolution from a dealer. I had planned to reach out to Jackie citing the message from Buick. But my dad advised that it might simply be a rubber bumper that was turned too far during assembly resulting in a loose hood fit when closed. Sure enough that's what it was. Problem solved, not by Mataga Buick GMC's service department or technicians, but by a retired non-GM mechanic. Obviously not happy with the Mataga Service Department. They didn't even seem the slight bit interested in looking at the vehicle. And obviously they were no help in resolving this rattle. They brushed me off and told me it was normal and nothing would be done even if I brought it in because it was normal for the Buick Envista. This is the problem with being a GM owner. Not the vehicles, but the dealership service departments. Always hit or miss with more misses. It wasn't always this way here. Back in the days of Ellis, he always took the time to take care of the customer. I miss those days. Lots to improve upon here. read more

Made an appointment online. 2:20pm appointment time. They recommended I leave my car and pick it up next day. They were doing 2 services. The service advisory Ozzy calls me and upsells the price on both services. I told him just do one service (brake fluid flush) and I'll pick up the car next day. ...showed up next day and learned that they never even worked on my car!?!?! Excuse was they were helping appointments first. Which is ironic because I actually made an appointment to begin with!!!! It seems they have more excuses than results. I had to wait another hour just to get my ride. If you want honest service, skip this place. read more
