The staff is hustling as the crowd is building. Food here follows a traditional Catalan breakfast where hardy and filling are essential for energy. The chef has been successful at previous endeavors, yet chosen to go smaller while still focusing on quality. Our first dish was a trotter's terrine fried with an unciuos taste. I had not been a fan of trotters, but this was absolutely delicious. The small delicate locally grown white beans that accompanied the trotters along with caramelized onions that were equally tasty. Our other selection was the fried eggs with a honey drizzle and pork sausage infused with paprika which was delicious. The olive oil drizzle on eggs, I'm going to steal. To the hard working staff, you are incredible. La Pubilla and the very talented chef, congrats! I don't generally eat or want breakfast, but today you got me to eat a trotter's terrine and to appreciate a new way to celebrate eggs. The beans with onions and pork with paprika were delightful. I had to waddle out of the restaurant as I've never eaten that much food for breakfast. The quality was remarkable. Great job and a sincere thank you!

Yes, stop over thinking and just come to this establishment! Would have never found this restaurant…read moreif my hotel never flooded and got moved near here. It is a very intimate restaurant with amazing food. Best meal I've had on my trip to Barcelona. Everything was delicious and made with very high quality. They gave us with a "green shot" which consisted of liquified vegetables. It was creamy and delicious! We then got the meat croquettes which was one of the best croquette I've ever had. We then had the crayfish paella and the suckling pig with pumpkin. Both were amazing! Finished it off with the Catalan cream and lemon sorbet

Went here based on Reddit recommendations and they did not miss (they led us right for CR... and…read morethey were on point again). The space is warm and very romantic. We went in the evening just as they were lighting the candles. The menu is extensive. My only nitpick is that I wish there were more vegetable options - even if it's just side dishes... We ordered the oxtail bon bons and the grilled octopus. Both were 10/10. We were not even that hungry and still cleared every plate. Service was excellent. We were taken care of by Jofre and Lola, who were total sweethearts. Desserts looked great but we skipped. Would absolutely come back!!!!

I'm going to preface this review by stating that this was our best meal in Barcelona. We had…read morereservations for dinner and were seated promptly. The interior is cozy and charming making it perfect for a date night. We started off with a soupy appetizer which I unfortunately do not remember the name of.. personally I needed a bit more salt but it was otherwise excellent. For entrees I got the steamed sea bass and my husband got the tuna. Both were great but the tuna was exceptional... I'm usually not a huge fan of tuna but I made my husband switch meals with me because I loved it so much. We ended the meal with a chocolate lava cake which was absolutely amazing as well.
