Ben and his team did a great job at my house, they worked mainly on replacing the hardwood floor after we had some water damage. The floor now looks so much better, they also fixed some damaged dry walls and insulation and finished with a fresh coat of paint, the place now looks brand new! Ben is very easy to deal with, always on time and responsive, and did a great job to make sure the house looks better than it did before the damage. Ben's team was also done almost exactly in the time period he estimated at the beginning, which was a relief since we spent a long time without a usable living room. Ben and his team helped us repair some water damage to our house after a burst pipe soaked several rooms' worth of floors and walls. While they were at it, we had them do some extra work extending my office into the garage, adding a door so I could go in and out easily. They did a superb job on everything we asked, which included a wide range of different work: multiple types of floor (hardwood and carpet), structural work (moving a wall, adding a door), electrical work (moving/adding outlets), HVAC work (moving a duct). There was drywall, painting, wallpapering, carpentry, tiling, insulation, and more. They handled everything for us, which is a huge relief when you're trying to get your house back in order after a catastrophe. Their biggest strengths: Communication: 5/5. This is the thing we have had the most trouble with with previous contractors. Thomas and Ben were incredibly responsive whenever we had questions, including nights/weekends (which I wouldn't necessarily expect). Adaptability: 5/5. There were multiple times they had to change their plans, either because they opened a wall and something wasn't routed as expected, or something they ordered was misdelivered, or we made a request for a change halfway through. For e.g., I forgot to remind/ask them to add an outlet after wallpapering a wall on one side and painting on the other, and they brought in Ben's brother (their electrician) to do it the next morning, and you would never have known. Quality: 4.8/5. All of the major work was done beautifully. They had to re-sand and refinish several hundred square feet of hardwood, replace tilework in the laundry room, etc, and it all looks great. That said, there are a few unfortunate scuffs, such as where a fridge was moved back after refinishing, and the only way to fix it would be to re-sand and refinish the entire floor again, which is not worth it. Not the end of the world, and it will probably become invisible before long. And I suspect they'll be more careful about that after this. They also weren't able to fully repair some gouges in the door trim (that were made by the water remediation company, ironically), because we couldn't find a matching stain, and it would mean redoing the trim for the entire floor. But again, these are minor relative to the scope of the work, 98% of which is exceptional. They also went above and beyond in other ways. For example, they were in our unfinished basement while we were away at one point, and noticed that water was gushing in (it was during the record rainfall in November) and moved a bunch of boxes and stuff out of the way so they wouldn't be damaged. We will definitely be staying in contact with Ben for future work, and recommending him to anyone else in the area. They are friendly, thorough, and do great work. read more

We hired them for our master bathroom remodel and from day one of planning all the way to completion, they were extremely friendly, communicative, and efficient. If there were any setbacks or minor issues here and there, they would let us know immediately and proceed to resolve those issues in a timely manner. The end result was stunning and you can tell they all take great pride in their work.
