Mike Malone came out, gave good spiel and gave us an estimate. Mike boasted to us that he had a hotshot staining crew. The crew that came out were very nice and friendly. They did a great job on the interior and exterior painting. Mike came out here after and noted some areas on the exterior that needed some more work, so they came back and did the touch ups. The problem was the staining. The crew admitted to us that this was the first time staining. They started on one of the bedrooms and did a lousy job. We found out that this crew was subcontracted. The next day they brought among someone else who knew what he was doing, and showed them how to stain. In the end, most of the rooms looked good, but the first bedroom they were not able to completely clean up their initial mistakes. When we complained to Mike, he said that the subcontractors said they could stain, so he wasn't going to take responsibility. So much for his hot shot staining crew. .

Bought some cabinets from Menards and boy was it hard to install. But Nicholas was a joy to work with. He didn't rush and scrimp on quality. He made sure to take his time and ensure the cuts and measurements were correct. And he is very honest as well. What was supposed to be a 2 day install, he was upfront, and immediately told us he needed more time. Which we are glad he told us. So we extended the project for another day. I used Barry's Sewer & Drain team to update an out of code basement bathroom. Mr. Cozy, owner,…read moreassessed code violations and sent me an itemized invoice for repairs needed. He had to tear out an existing dry wall and part of bathroom floor to connect to a major vent pipe. It was on the other side of the adjacent wall. The connection was less than five feet away. The invoice had a much more extensive plan for proper coding. After seeing the short distance for a venting connection, I asked could he reduce the charge? He said no. I was charged an additional $150 for a part he claimed was needed, but was never contacted for this fee. His invoice clearly states that no work or materials would be done or purchased before owner contact was made. He emphatically stated that the charge for additional part would remain. I refused to pay until the $150 charge was removed. Barry placed a lien against my rehabbed property. He was paid for the job, but never replaced the basement wall. I had to pay a contractor to close the wall. The Better Business Bureau was contacted and I placed a formal complaint against him. I even took pictures of the rough end work that showed the wall removed. The lien still exists and he refused to remove it unless I wrote a letter to BBB stating my SATISFACTION of work performed. I refused to lie! If you are looking for a fraudulent plumbing company, then contact them immediately. I would not recommend his company and I am a real estate investor. Spread the word.

Our garage had quite a bit of fixtures, including our ev charger, but Alex took care to tape and protect the fixtures the entire time. The pricing was also very competitive for two coats of paint. Last minute, because they do handyman work as well, we asked about an add-on to help us affix/install a storage rack on the ceiling of our garage. El and Alex agreed to assist for a great price with the agreed-upon understanding that we would pre-assemble it ourselves, but on the day of, Alex ended up helping us assemble all of it anyway. Plus, the job was not easy because it ended up being a pain to affix something onto our garage ceiling, but they honored their quote and were super gracious about it the entire time. We could not have done it without Alex. Ultimately, Alex was with us all day until late evening which reflects the care he put into the job. While I also didnt supervise the job, I am near certain he did more than two coats of paint in select areas due to his own high standards. When we got our epoxy done, the guys even asked who painted our garage and asked for contact info. A job very well done. We have Armmax saved to contacts for our upcoming needs.
