So now I'm looking at all these 5 stars that LSC was awarded and wondering just how good their services really are? Does every 5 th star represent a trade off for $50 off?But the guy seemed to know what he was talking about, gave sensible advice and drove a truck that said LSC- so, legit. Second visit is where i give three stars. Not because the chimney cleaning service itself wasn't good bec it seemed to be- he was on time, polite, left no mess, brought his own equipment, cleaned up our messy hearth. Fireplace looks like new. But perhaps he needs to learn more about dealing with people in the South. A good way to greet a new customer could be like: Good morning! Hello! My name is "X"How are you? Im here to clean your chimney. Are you prepared for me to begin? Do you need a few minutes? Im happy to wait." instead he appears at my door, looks at me like i should know who he is, and be ready to start immediately. He's a bit put out that he has to move his truck bec he parked behind me before i could leave for work. He was 10 minutes early. Which is fine but don't look put out with me. Then i was trying to confirm the price and he looked at me like i should've already known pricing. But since he's taking my money and ID NEVER SEEN HIM BEFORE, why wouldn't i ask? Frankly i was surprised to see this new guy and his unmarked truck when i was expecting the guys from the previous day in the LSC truck. They spoke as if they'd be returning. At any rate the young man who arrived was overtly polite, but his face and eyes were telling their own story and it wasn't a good one about me! Not a good feeling when I'm the one paying!! Grrrr... In the end the service was performed, done quick, clean, as advertised; we were satisfied. I got my $50 off and later, two texted reminders to leave my review. And so, here it is.
