We called several cleaning services and this location confirmed that we should bring in our fur coat and they would try their best to get it out. The woman on the phone even put us on hold to go speak with someone else to confirm this. When I went out of my way with items this afternoon to drop them off, I was met with the extremely rude and unprofessional owner who basically got mad at me for bringing them in. He said. "I don't know who you talk to, but it wasn't me and I don't do that anymore." He said he doesn't have the time to clean fur anymore and he wouldn't even look at it or consider it. Keep in mind. This is all after I was specifically told to bring it in. I told him this and he kept getting mad at me. I said "OK I'm gonna go somewhere else" and he said "OK". The worst customer service I have received in a long time. He was bitter, old, and his building looked like it was falling apart. I questioned whether or not they were even open when I pulled up. Please do not go and support such an aggressive rude man.

I have always had great service, but today I stood in line behind a lady who wanted alterations. The young gentleman working the front counter showed an enviable amount of patience working with the lady who was having difficulties with language and understanding. Its been a long time since I saw such patience and good old-fashioned manners. They rock!

I've been going to Oxford Cleaners for the past 10 years. Sure, there's been the occasional…read morehiccup--like my clothes being ready an hour later than expected--but that's life, and it's never been a big deal. What matters most is that they consistently get my clothes done exactly the way I want them. I'm a creature of habit, and I respect businesses that respect me. The team at Oxford knows me, treats me with kindness, and values our relationship. One time, my daughter dropped off clothes for me, and I forgot I had items to pick up. I hadn't given her any money (parents know how that goes--your money is their money!). But they handed her my clothes anyway and said, "He can pay next time." That kind of trust and familiarity is rare, and it means a lot. I always read reviews before trying a new place, and I understand that sometimes a bad day or a single employee can skew things. But I can say with confidence: the owner here is 100% worth giving a chance. That's why I'll keep coming back.

This is my experience with Just Sew. When I received my…read moredresses, the "seamstress" had placed pins in all four new dresses creating holes and tearing the fabric. The hems were also misaligned. When I addressed these issues with the owner he was very rude. Insisted they could "steam" the holes out. When asked why they had pinned sticky notes onto the front of the dresses (creating holes) the response was "you know very well why" No. I do not know why a person hired to alter a dress would deliberately damage the fabric. I am posting photos of the dresses I received and the damage that was caused by this store. Very disappointing.

I brought it to the owner's attention immediately and was told they would fix it. I then had to wait around for about 20 minutes, only to be told they still needed more time and that I would have to come back the next day. While I am waiting, I am hearing the owner get defensive with another patron regarding black spots on her white dress that were not there when she dropped the dress off. The lack of accountability for the inconvenience was frustrating. When picking my leggings up for the second time, I asked if there could be any sort of partial refund or discount since the work had not been done correctly the first time that I had to point out, and required multiple trips, but she refused and got quite defensive at me, similar to the day before with another patron. In the end, the issue may have been corrected, but the overall customer service experience was poor. I will not be returning.

Wedding dress brought in and Had specific request written request to view the item before it got boxed up. My mother bought and paid for this dress and passed away before I got married so very sentimental. Upon dropping off, I was told the dress would be ready in one month and needed to be picked up at the main location. Waited a month and got a phone call that my dress was ready so I drove all the way down to the main location to find out that my dress not only wasn't there, but already was boxed up. Got the number for the manager Called the next day. She seemed very short and rude as she stated that. Yes they were well aware of it, but did not say anything after that. I asked her what could be done to correct this issue because I had to drive an hour out of my way the day prior and my dress wasn't there. She was really short with me and told me that they would unboxed it, and I could view it the next day, I asked if I would be charged double for the boxing fee since they had to do it twice and was told no. And I would have to wait an extra two days to pick it up. No apology was ever given, except by the original people that I dropped my dress off to when I picked up the dress, I was also charged more than what they told me originally so I have a feeling I may have been charged twice for boxing. For something as sentimental as a wedding dress, I would've assumed that a little more kindness would have taken place.
