According to the company they could not provide that. So we had to supply the mic stands and clip-on mic (with receiver). They did end up providing mics, but it was after much discussion. The DJ performance was ok, but I did not love the transitions between songs, especially since some songs skipped in the middle. With that being said, their price was cheaper than many others and the DJ (Nate) was pleasant to deal with, however he can be opinionated (given his experience). I guess you get what you pay for. Also given that they are an established company, I was really skeptical given that they did not have many reviews on yelp. Once we signed up, the email exchanges were not very professional while discussing details. Their level of organization could be better as well.

Nate arrived super early as promised to set up and was personable and sweet! He knew that we were having issues because our Photgrapher did not arrive to take pics as per our contract so I (the bride) was a little on edge but Nate kept to himself and just smiled as we walked on by :) He played THE PERFECT MUSIC ALL NIGHT LONG! He was funny and interacted with everyone! He did not miss a beat and he was the reason that the entire reception ran smoothly! I don't Pyle recommend this Company and especially Nate to anyone and everyone! He is a true professional and was the best asset to our wedding! Everyone loved him! Thanks again Nate and PSR!!

My wife and I are very meticulous and we spent hours, if not days, reading various reviews on…read moredifferent vendors for our wedding. We consider ourselves to be very organized and when looking for vendors for our wedding we wanted to ensure that whomever we decided to go with was also very organized and detailed. Neither of us have attended many weddings so we were a little lost in the clouds with what to expect and what to look for when deciding on our reception's entertainment. After reading numerous reviews on how wonderfully detailed and organized Chris was, we thought we might have found a winner. After first meeting with Chris, we felt very at ease and relaxed as if we were just hanging out with a friend. Chris knows his music. Not just one genre either. He's a well-versed encyclopedia of all aspects of music. Chris was very receptive to our requests of the style of music we wanted to hear at our ceremony, the cocktail hour and the reception. While we both enjoy different types of music we were a little overwhelmed with which artists to go with and decided to trust Chris with the majority of the selections. We had a few "must play" songs which Chris made sure that we heard. Chris went above and beyond to ensure not only that we were happy but also to ensure that our guests were dancing and smiling the whole time. Our wedding had a few 90+ year olds and we were unsure if they would be able to get up and dance. However, Chris knew exactly what to play to bring them to the floor. Walkers and all, our grandparents were able to share the dance floor with us to create an unforgettable memory for our entire family. We also want to point out how punctual Chris is. We are very punctual people and we believe that if you're not early, you're late. Chris was always early. He always beat us to our meetings. We could go on and on for days about Chris' professionalism. I wanted to surprise my wife with a song that I wanted to play for her on acoustic guitar at the reception and Chris was not only happy to oblige, but was very excited to make it happen. We spoke on the phone over the weeks leading up to our big day. Chris walked me through the process of what equipment he was going to use and how he would introduce me to the reception. Chris was also accompanied by another DJ named Joe who was equally professional and kind. We met Joe the day of the reception and it felt like we knew him for many years. We were both completely at ease with our decision and had no worries about anything. We felt comfortable and relaxed and a big part of that was because he made sure everyone got to the dance floor, if even for just a few moments. Chris always greeted us with a warm smile and helped us create a timeline that coincided with our venue to make sure everything flowed properly. He wanted to save us from as much stress possible and requested the contact information of all of our vendors so he could speak directly with the venue about the schedule for the day-of timelines, the videographers about microphones, officiant about speeches and introductions, etc. We cannot express how grateful we were to not have to be the middleman and just provide Chris with names and phone numbers and wait for his "everyone's on the same page" email! Our venue expressed how easy and flawless it was working with Chris and that some other DJs cause them headaches. Chris seemed to make the day go easy and smoothly for everyone involved. We also went with a Photobooth through Futurescapes Entertainment and Chris was able to use our wedding template which was created specifically for our wedding. This ensured everything was cohesive throughout our entire wedding. If you're looking for a DJ who knows his craft, understands the business and is eager to please then Futurescapes Entertainment is hands down the best choice you can make. Chris, thank you so very much for making our special day even more special. Thank you for the memories we were able to make with our grandparents. Thank you for going above and beyond. You are the example by which all others should be judged.

I would definitely recommend Futurescapes for any event, both for the DJ and uplighting packages!

After attending enough weddings with disappointing DJs, I knew one thing: I was not leaving my daughter's wedding to chance. As the father paying for the wedding, I gladly let my wife and daughter choose the venue, the caterer, the flowers, and the photographer. But there was one decision I insisted on making myself--the DJ. That responsibility belonged to me, because I knew the right master of ceremonies would make all the difference. There was only one person I trusted: Ken Schaffer. With more than 35 years of radio and DJ experience, Ken didn't just play music--he orchestrated an unforgettable celebration. From the moment the planning began, he worked seamlessly with our family, the caterer, and the venue to make sure every detail flowed perfectly. He kept the evening moving effortlessly, created the perfect atmosphere, and turned our father-daughter dance into a memory I will treasure for the rest of my life. A wedding lasts only one day, but the memories last forever. Don't risk one of the most important moments of your family's life on someone who simply plays songs. Call Ken Schaffer. You'll never regret it.

Dear Ultimate Sounds Entertainment, Thank you for your DJ…read moreservices at my Lambertville Inn (NJ, USA) Wedding. I could not have asked for a better night of fun filled entertainment and memories. Now to the review... We live in the era of technology. Every vendor that served at my wedding must have some sort of internet presence. For me, a good start was through weddingwire and theknot. After the initial sorting of vendors, I felt that Ultimate Sounds Entertainment had what it takes to DJ my wedding. So, I made contact via phone for an appointment. The face-to-face encounter could not have gone any better and any questions that I asked were answered. What impressed me the most was his ability to improvise and overcome any challenges that were thrown at him during his time DJ'ing. Now, for the most important part of my review... Wedding Day. My wedding was relatively modest at ~250 people. However, it required Ultimate Sounds Entertainment to accommodate separate rooms for the Ceremony, Cocktail Hour and Reception Area. To no difficulty the company had speaker systems to sufficiently fill out all the locations needed at no additional cost. From providing mics to my live pianist/violinist for my ceremony to DJ'ing my Cocktail Hour to MC'ing my reception, I can honestly say that Ultimate Sounds Entertainment has done a job well done at a cost that was well worth their value. What makes Ultimate Sounds Entertainment stand above all others is their commitment to making your wedding work. The reason why I say this is that they initially committed to a 2-person team to my wedding. However, on wedding day they had added an additional person to make sure that the speaker setup and preparations were made at a satisfactory level. They also were very cooperative with all the changes that were made on the fly during my wedding. Now, the final point... this company sure knows how to top off any deal. During our face to face we somehow got off topic with bagels and how the best were made in NYC. Seeing how both my wife and I love a good bagel, Ultimate Sounds Entertainment graced us with bagels the morning of our wedding.
