Dear Ultimate Sounds Entertainment, Thank you for your DJ services at my Lambertville Inn (NJ, USA) Wedding. I could not have asked for a better night of fun filled entertainment and memories. Now to the review... We live in the era of technology. Every vendor that served at my wedding must have some sort of internet presence. For me, a good start was through weddingwire and theknot. After the initial sorting of vendors, I felt that Ultimate Sounds Entertainment had what it takes to DJ my wedding. So, I made contact via phone for an appointment. The face-to-face encounter could not have gone any better and any questions that I asked were answered. What impressed me the most was his ability to improvise and overcome any challenges that were thrown at him during his time DJ'ing. Now, for the most important part of my review... Wedding Day. My wedding was relatively modest at ~250 people. However, it required Ultimate Sounds Entertainment to accommodate separate rooms for the Ceremony, Cocktail Hour and Reception Area. To no difficulty the company had speaker systems to sufficiently fill out all the locations needed at no additional cost. From providing mics to my live pianist/violinist for my ceremony to DJ'ing my Cocktail Hour to MC'ing my reception, I can honestly say that Ultimate Sounds Entertainment has done a job well done at a cost that was well worth their value. What makes Ultimate Sounds Entertainment stand above all others is their commitment to making your wedding work. The reason why I say this is that they initially committed to a 2-person team to my wedding. However, on wedding day they had added an additional person to make sure that the speaker setup and preparations were made at a satisfactory level. They also were very cooperative with all the changes that were made on the fly during my wedding. Now, the final point... this company sure knows how to top off any deal. During our face to face we somehow got off topic with bagels and how the best were made in NYC. Seeing how both my wife and I love a good bagel, Ultimate Sounds Entertainment graced us with bagels the morning of our wedding. read more

After attending an amazing wedding a few years back, my husband and I knew whom we wanted to hire to provide the music and entertainment for our wedding on November 1st. It was a no brainer and one of the easiest decisions in our wedding planning process- we just had to pray that they were free for our date! The wedding we attended was memorable for so many reasons, but one thing that always stood out in our minds was how awesome the music was and how much fun the DJ and MC were. There was never a dull moment, the whole room was engaged from the moment the music played, and we walked away not being able to stop talking about how much fun we had. We had been to weddings so many times and forgotten afterwards how the music was because it was just never memorable enough. This wedding left us wanting more and not being able to wait for the next wedding we would attend. So, when the time came for us to plan our own wedding, we knew exactly who to talk to. Our friends couldn't find a negative thing to tell us. They raved about how easy their DJ/MC was to work with, how they felt they could talk to the owner about anything and, because of this, they got everything they ever wanted for their special day. Everything from the lighting, to the last song for the night went perfect for them. Everything they told us seemed too good to be true, but we took the name of the company (Ultimate Sounds Entertainment) they used and kept it in the back of our minds as we continued to plan our wedding. When I called to speak with someone from Ultimate Sounds Entertainment I was over joyed to learn that I was talking to the owner of the company and he was so easy to talk to. It seemed like I had known Mike (our MC and owner of Ultimate Sounds Entertainment) for years and couldn't wait to set up a meeting. We met Mike for the first time in a diner and grew to appreciate his sense of humor, straightforward approach and advice over the course of our meal. We talked about how our venue wanted to charge extra for uplighting and limited us in our options and immediately he provided solutions before we had even approached the subject of signing with him. We reviewed the packages and prices, asked questions to which he patiently replied and spoke honestly. He even asked us about our other vendors to be sure we weren't being mistreated by them. By the end of the meal, we were so thoroughly impressed that we put on a downpayment before leaving. Preceding the wedding, he kept in contact and continued to offer advice, suggestions and assistance in any way he could. When I say "in any way he could" I mean it. Mike went from a vendor for our wedding to a friend. He would get in touch with me and would know when I felt uneasy about something and how to put my mind at ease. He helped me from freaking out as most brides do and get through many situations that you don't expect to be thrown at you while planing your wedding, and mind you, situations that your MC doesn't usually help you get through. All of which was VERY much appreciated. The day of our wedding, he showed up early and had everything set up and tested before the big event (which went off without a single problem). And as the night went on, he kept in touch without being intrusive or overbearing, solving problems and making changes as they came with ease. Grandpa not there to cut the cake? He stalled without missing a beat. Mom doesn't have a first dance song picked out? We'll slide your suggestion right in. It can't be understated how much of an asset it is to have someone who can keep things running smoothly. As for the music, Emilio did a fantastic job of working the crowd in a way that didn't tire them out but kept them going. There was ALWAYS someone on the dance floor and the music always fit the crowd. Let me also mention the fact that my husband and I are rarely ever seen on any dance floor. Almost our ENTIRE time was spent on the dance floor during our reception. My husband had even sprained his ankle two days before the wedding, and he was enjoying the music and everything that Mike and Emilio did so much that you would have never known that my husband was in pain. During and after our wedding, everyone raved about how much fun they had and how much they loved Mike and Emilio. And when the call came from Mike a day or two after the wedding to see if we were pleased with how everything went, I too found that there was not a single thing I could say I would have changed! Everything exceeded our expectations and dreams. Enough can't be said about how much the dynamic duo of Mike and Emilio did for our wedding. They took it to another level and kept it completely without incident. Their customer service and prices would be very hard to surpass for any competitor, and we left our wedding feeling they were worth way more than we paid them.
