I completed seven sessions with them, and while the machine they used was relatively less painful than others, it's important to note that additional treatments are always required. Unlike many competitors, LaserAway does not include any form of annual maintenance, which is frustrating considering the high cost of their packages. This is misleading because I have yet to meet anyone who didn't require more sessions beyond what they initially purchased. The staff was friendly and accommodating--until it came time to purchase additional treatments. They were more than willing to assist when it involved spending more money but completely unhelpful when I requested a refund for my unused sessions. I was explicitly told that refunds were possible, but when I moved and could no longer complete my treatments, I was ignored for an entire year. I called multiple times, only to be met with silence. When I finally reached someone, I was met with excuses and was essentially blamed for not "planning better." The representative I spoke with was unprofessional and dismissive, showing no willingness to assist me. I was also told that because my package included two free sessions, I was not eligible for a refund--something that was never mentioned upfront. The lack of integrity in their policies and customer service is unacceptable. If you are considering laser hair removal, I strongly recommend looking into other providers. Many competitors offer the same level of technology and results while including an annual maintenance plan at no extra cost. Do your research and don't fall for the claim that LaserAway has the "best" technology--it all comes down to what a spa chooses to invest in, and plenty of places offer comparable, if not better, options with fairer policies.

First of all, the room was very bright--not dim like it should be. For the actual treatment--a Dermabrasion was in my opinion, very short--less than10 mins--not even 15 mins. and she did it with gloves on. Also, not even a little massage--no rubbing of your shoulders, or anything. Again, a first for me. I have always received a bit of a luxurious massage. Uggh! The feel of the rubber on your face is not very appealing nor comfortable! And, to boot--the Service was VERY VERY PRICEY! Not thrilled with the entire process. Came at my scheduled time and then they make me aware that the IV infusions need to be ordered.... The front desk person never made me aware of that, then that would have been a "consultation appointment!" - First red flag. Luckily they had "one more Meyer's cocktail" which is what I wanted. Second red flag - they used a butterfly needle to start and infuse my IV. This is a major NO NO (see picture below). Any healthcare professional knows that butterflies are used to draw blood not administer anything, since a needle should not be left in place. This is not best practice. The nurse started infusing the fluids with no vitamins inside until I asked her if she had prepared the infusion and she said no - she still had to add it? She calls the ARNP Danay and they discuss amongst each other that the one Meyer's cocktail they had was ... expired! Thank God they checked, but now I had an unnecessary IV in my arm (with a needle nonetheless not IV catheter) The girl from the front desk was nice enough to offer me a complimentary B12 shot. Overall grateful they checked the expiration date but this was a terrible experience.
