I don't have acne or oily skin but I wanted some hydration and just an overall treatment cleanse since I wear make up every other day and spend time in the sun. I'm very grateful for Lola's expertise and care. After a thorough evaluation, she recommended for me the hydro-facial. There were multiple options for treatments within the hydro facial category but since it was my first time there I went with the simplest hydro facial. I am sick to my stomach. I was going here because I model and am a tv actress. So Vanessa, the NP had already done 1 thread lift on me, amazing results. So she kept telling me the thicker threads would be better for the next thread lift ( only 4 - 5 mths after ). First, it was agonizing & cost $1600. Second, she swore it would build collagen and look amazing with time. She said it would take the place of filler. She said, " trust the process." After 6 weeks, I developed severe hollowness under my eye. I did NOT receive any other treatment but that of Vanesssa ! Also there was a huge indintation in my cheek like a separation gap! I also think she hit a nerve because I have severe pain in my lower right cheek. I wanted to cry!! Vanessa was always trying to push every service on me. She was great at first- but than got greedy ( wanting more $ ) making me feel unattractive - if I didn't do this or that treatment. She said to me, one time, that I spent so much time working on my body, that I needed to spend more time on my face!! What an insult ! What professional says that?!? I spent thousands of dollars there..trusting them!! I went to Palm Beach to visit my folks and found Begin Anew in Jupiter. I was practically crying in Gail's chair who has been doing this work 30+ years. I needed to purchase 2 vials of filler to fix Vanessa's mistakes. I'm so upset. When I contacted Vanessa she was so nasty with an attitude ! That's NOT the way you treat a loyal customer who brought them lots of clients. They have tripled their prices also. I will NEVER go back. Vanessa was always pushing all kind of procedures on me! She was great at first, but than screwed up my face with the 2nd thread thrift and she was nasty with a major attitude when I contacted her. I really wanted to like this place, but I just can't. I had an appointment for a parrafin mani-pedi. I was ignored when I walked in, and when I was finally offered a drink, it was 15 minutes past my appointment time. There were no other clients in sight, so I don't understand what happened. The mani and pedi were very sanitary, but they lacked the pampering and great quality products of other spas. For instance, they did not buff my nails or apply a treatment to them. My manicure chipped LATER THAT DAY. This has never happened to me before, not even when I paint my own nails. Frankly, I do a better job when I give myself a manicure. Sorry My Derma Clinic, you will definitely not be MY Derma clinic! EDIT: I told the owner as much, and she responded with a curt, "[The manicurist] opened a new bottle of polish for you; I don't know what happened." I've been twice for pedicures only and it is now my go-to place for nails. The staff is very professional and really "work on you," to give you the best possible results. My last pedicure, I was there for well over an hour (with no wait). The ambiance and decor is awesome, especially if you like jewelry and trinkets. They have an incredible selection of items available to purchase all over the store. I've seen some good looking hair come out of the stylist's room and the next time I need it I'll be giving her a try. I have tried it all, creams, gels, lotions, diet, exercise, massage EVERYTHING on the market or in a doctor's office or at a variety of spas statewide to get rid of those dimples aka cellulite but I just did my first cellupulse at My Derma Clinic and I am so excited. My skin is softer & smoother than any body wrap you can get anywhere, including the Ritz in Sarasota. Endomology bruises & does not last, this felt like I had just gotten a deep massage when it was done. This place is the only place in town that even offers the treatment Madonna prefers (she bought the same machine My Derma Clinic uses when she underwent her dramatic body transformation years ago & now the machine is supposed to be better) which I don't understand but I am so grateful that someone is savy with technology and offers cellupulse aka acoustic wave therapy to treat cellulite. That savy woman is owner, Margaret and My Derma Clinic is the only place in South Florida that offers it, I was ready to drive to Tampa (or fly to Texas, NY, CA or AZ) to get this treatment except that is quite a trip for the recommended one treatment for 6 weeks in a row! Incidentally, having done tons of research on this, i know that the fees are competitive to say the least. No bruising, quick procedure & my skin is as soft & smooth after one treatment as if I did a series of other treatments or wraps or kneading so I am going back next week for more. After reading their advertisement on Groupon would allow for upper arm treatment, I decided to purchase two "cycles," one for each of my arms. Upon getting to My Derma Clinic, the young girl who I was told was the only person in charge of administering the Coolsculpting service was reluctant to do my upper arms with the two cycles I had already bought, and said she would only do them if I bought an additional two cycles! I was already upset at her demeanor and attitude and moreover pushy-ness to sell me more seevices, so I decided to treat another area instead and use the two cycles I had already purchased. But my awful experience at My Derma Clinic does NOT end with the practitioner's reluctance to treat my desired area or acting as a salesperson instead of a "practitioner," no. Additionally, the areas I got treated were cut short SIGNIFICANTLY, each averaging about 20 minutes! According to coolsculpting.com, a patient's treatment should last 35-60 minutes per session, so my sessions were significantly brief, and consequentially, I did not see any improvements, AT ALL. All have been wonderful and this is the only place I would go to get my nails done as they open the pouch right in front of you and take out sanitized tools to use on your nails. I've had the Venus Freeze treatment on my saggy neck and it looks so much better after 6 treatments. I've also done a varicose vein treatment. I'm so happy ...I immediately saw some varicose veins collapse and disappear. It was easy and I loved Jacqueline! She knows veins!!
