I will start out by saying that having Mrs. Kahn as my daughters teacher was the biggest mistake I ever made as a parent. There would be times Mrs. Kahn would say," Oh your child wouldn't sit down in circle time and would go play with the toys instead, or I know her shirt has milk and paint all over it but she got upset when I tried to change her so I left it on." The first thought that came to my mind was," Aren't you the teacher?" My child wasn't bad at all, she was just excited to be in an environment with so many stimulating things in it, and as a teacher you would think her 15+ years of experience would've taught her how to handle those situations. It's as if she was so used to having perfect children and got flustered when a child didn't listen when she told them to do something the first time. And as far as my child learning anything, she didn't learn anything from her other than how to line up and go outside. The funny thing is when I would be on break from school or had her for the holidays, I would teach her the smallest things and my daughter would catch on so fast that everyone in my family could see an improvement. Why was it that she wasn't learning anything at school when she was there 5 days a week, but as soon as I taught her something on a 3 day break all of a sudden you see improvement? I'll tell you why, it's because Mrs. Kahn was NOT paying attention to my child and paid more attention to other children and was busy begging parents to give money or food to her for the parties she always threw (as if tuition wasn't enough). If she spent more time on educating the children then planning parties, maybe the children could actually learn something. My husband also would drop our daughter off and say to me ," Does she not like our daughter? She always gives us a look like she doesn't want her there, but when other children come in, she gets excited and gives them hugs." Also you know something is wrong with a teacher when the director pulls her own grandchild out of their class, and transfers them into another teachers class. In all since leaving within 3 months my child can count to 100 and can read at 3 years old, and it's all because I taught her and took her out of that school. My advice is to anybody looking at this school, DO NOT enroll your child in her class. She's obviously more focused on throwing parties and doesn't know a thing about teaching in a structured environment.

I sent my oldest daughter to try summer camp, and she had a good time with field trips twice per week, and a pretty generous list of daily activities to keep older kids busy and interested. Since the school is geared towards younger kids- it was great that they got them offsite quite a bit! Now I have a 1.5 year old there and we've been attending for a months now. I love all the daily pictures I receive and all of the activities she does on a daily basis. Constantly gluing, painting, coloring.. some kind of art. And gets fresh air on the playground or out of the room in the gym. I've even received video of outdoor dance parties with the toddlers! lol! My daughter actually enjoys going and we've had minimal issues. Her previous daycare she'd cry at drop off and couldn't get to the door fast enough at the end of the day. However at Goddard she's starting to blossom and is comfortable enough to walk right in! The staff across the first 3 rooms seem very caring, kind, and friendly. They wave and speak upon entering even though we're not in their classes (especially the infant room). Things seem organized and enjoyable for my daughter. I don't feel stressed about her well-being there. I can drop her off and feel she's being taken care of. I recommend.

As a former educator and district leader, this demeanor and abuse of positional power is disgusting for anyone who calls themselves and educator, let alone the school leader. Please read my husbands review for the full recap of this horrible experience (Jeremy W.). When she called to discuss the assessment my son and I were just there to she abruptly questioned if I was concerned about his safety. As I sought clarification, she sharply interrupted me and accused me of "having an attitude". This is a tried and true micro aggression that she had no problem throwing around which shows she felt she had the right to control my tone all while hers was one of disrespect and condescension. When I attempted to express my confusion, Ms. Conn's response was to rashly announce that she would "just take him off our list." Throughout our conversation, Ms. Conn wielded her words and tone like a weapon, showcasing an unsettling display of privilege and power. As the school leader, we expected her to foster a sense of collaboration and partnership in the enrollment process, bridging the gap between families, students, and other school stakeholders. Instead, we encountered an individual who took pleasure in her gatekeeping role, someone who reveled in the ability to dictate, limit, and control access. Ms. Conn's entire attitude was unarguably condescending, her demeanor cold, and her empathy was nowhere to be found. We consider ourselves fortunate that we could glimpse her true nature before we made the mistake of entrusting our son's education and emotional well-being to her. Zero stars.

He also had a ton of allergies - milk, seafood, and tree nuts. We visited over 7 schools for him and read every single review for each of the places. We were most impressed with Primrose. Miss Natalie was professional and patient with us during our tour as we asked question after question. I also loved their system of having every kids picture in the classroom with their allergies listed next to their face. They seemed very organized. When we started, our son would still cry at drop off and took longer than most kids to adjust but the school helped us through it. The teachers were loving and looked out for our son and I would literally call every 1-2 hours and ask for an update and they would often send a photo through the portal when I did. About 6 months into our time there, we started Oral Immunotherapy for our son's milk allergy. As a part of that, we were able to trial and error small portions of foods that contained milk. Every Monday, Miss Kari and I still go through the weekly menu and talk through what foods my son should try for the week and what portions. Now my son has overcome his milk allergy and the school was a huge help in getting us there. Other praises I'll sing: even though kiddos can switch classes every 6 months - 1 yearish, the teachers are so phenomenal that neither our son or us have had a hard time with the transitions, they were seamless. He also was behind on walking and his vocabulary when he started and both improved dramatically when he started. Now he goes into school with a smile on his face and talks about his teachers and his friends at home. It's a home away from home for him. Great job Primrose!

PSA: at the bottom of the page there is a "not recommended" button. Be sure to read that review too, it shocked me but I do not doubt it. The daycare is okay. Positive thing about this is the week to week payment, so if you are not going to make it there a week you don't have to pay unlike some other primrose schools I've been too. The front staff are friendly for the most part. The teachers in the summer class classroom in the morning are usually very sweet and welcoming. First issue is the parking lot, if you can't find a parking spot good luck turning around to get out. It's a one way in/out and is a small parking lot with no turn around. It wasn't such a big issue for me but can be annoying when you try picking your kid up at 5 and there are no spots. Second issue is how many kids there are, in the explorer class for summer there were so many kids, all crammed into a classroom, when I went to pick up my child the teacher was always yelling at them to sit down and probably because there were too many kids for her to handle. And not speaking loudly for them to hear her, she was literally yelling at them. But okay.. Well, for a 4th of July party they had a list for each classroom to bring something for their class party if they wanted too. I signed up for fruit since only one other parent did too. That day I went to drop off my child and picked him up, he said that he didn't get any fruit, no one in the class did. (He was really looking forward to it when we bought it too.) He said he saw the closing teacher take both trays and left the classroom. He had one square of pizza, Cheetos and a cookie. He was still hungry but that was all he got. (Everyday he said he was always still hungry) I was confused about what had happened with the item we brought but he had told me after we'd got home. So I brushed it off. The next day the school was closed then I dropped him off Friday, his potential last day. I picked him up and he said he had fun and wanted to stay another week. Okay, I thought maybe I made a big deal and he enjoys it. Then he TELLS me this, what happened in class; he said "a kid threw up and the teacher made him clean it up." My boyfriend and I looked at each other and busted out in a laugh. Not because it was funny but because of how ridiculous that was. I've worked in a daycare in the past and work with children in a schools setting so I know if a child vomits, you get gloves and proper sanitizing equipment and clean it up and have the child sent to the nurse or front and have a parent called. You should NEVER make a child clean his/her own vomit. That is embarrassing and just wrong, if that was my child I know he'd be crying and upset. I sure hope that child told their parents. My child the tells me after I asked if they sprayed anything on it, he tells me "no they just put a towel over it." ... when I worked at a daycare (another primrose at that) our responsibility if a child threw up was to properly sanitize the area with disposable napkins and our sanitizer spray that we even used for diaper changing stations. Kids could get sick if something like that is not properly cleaned. That is when I decided, that Friday was his last day. Unfortunately, this being the closest primrose my child will not ever be attending this primrose again due.

She approached me about an incident where…read moremy daughter was bitten, she displayed an unprofessional attitude, insinuating that I was being 'double-sided' and suggesting that my child was to blame for the incident. Despite my explanation that my daughter was merely curious and did not provoke the situation, Denise's response was dismissive and lacking in empathy. It's disheartening to feel as though a caregiver is indifferent to a child's well-being, and I believe addressing this behavior is crucial for creating a supportive environment for both parents and children at the daycare. In addition to my experience with Denise, I also noticed that the toddler teachers seem overwhelmed with the number of children under their care. My final straw was witnessing my daughter's hair being pulled and her being dragged down without any acknowledgment or apology from Natalie, one of the Directors . It was alarming to see such an incident go unnoticed by the staff, and it left me questioning why my daughter seems to dread going to school. The lack of communication and accountability is deeply concerning, especially when it comes to the safety and well-being of the children. It's disheartening to be met with smiles while legitimate concerns are overlooked. I believe addressing these issues, including the staff-to-child ratio and the need for better communication and supervision. I am deeply concerned that if one of the directors has the audacity to speak to me in such a dismissive manner, then they may also have the power to influence how teachers handle parental concerns. It's troubling to think that legitimate worries expressed by parents could be overlooked or dismissed by those in positions of authority. A culture of dismissiveness from leadership can trickle down and affect how staff members interact with parents and address concerns. It's essential for the daycare's management to foster an environment of respect, accountability, and open communication, starting from the top down. Parents entrust their children's well-being to the daycare, and it's imperative that this trust is respected and upheld at all levels of the organization. Mrs Alejandra and Mrs.Sinclair are great teachers in her class but something just isn't right about the administration.
