Very bad service. I'm surprised they even know what a guitar is. I definitely don't recommend anyone to go to this person.

Anyway, It needed a little work so I am glad that I found Empire Guitar Works. Call Empire Guitar Works if you need any kind of guitar repairs, you won't regret it. With a lot of so called luthiers out there, Chad is the real deal. So again, go to the website and get that work done that you have neglected for a while. If You take care of your guitar, your guitar will always be there to take care of you.

My instrument was ready in a matter of days not weeks and in addition to the wiring fix I requested a full setup. Plays beautifully - better than ever before. No more choking notes when bending! Chad is undoubtedly a seasoned pro at what he does as his pedigree will attest. But he's got everything dialed in from start to finish. It's easy to book an appointment that you know is reserved for you online. He takes great care and consideration to respect the safety of all of his customers in the current covid environment, spacing them out to prevent unnecessary contact. Turnaround times are fast. He spends the time up front to make sure he captures your full needs - no guessing. Also super refreshing - he let me know when my guitars were ready...I didn't have to call three times over period of months to find out a part was 'back-ordered'. Invoice is emailed in advance of instrument pick-up. Pricing is fair and competitive. Any potential unknowns or costs that may arise due to issues he hasn't yet discovered? He sets clear expectations if that might be the case. He has a clear price list that covers almost any work you need done. You can pay by web from any modern device so all you have to do upon arrival is pickup your 'new' guitar! Chad excels at his core expertise but nails all the other aspects of the interaction that made doing business with him such a pleasure and guarantees that all of my future instruments will be in his hands when they need a pro's attention. Give this man your guitars! If this review seems too good to be true understand that I work in customer service and probably pay more attention to these things than most... a lot of folks can overlook a little sloppiness, administrative mistakes, scheduling problems, etc...Chad doesn't so you don't have to! He's also a very nice human!

My parents and I recently received it as a gift from my cousin who got it brand new as a kid over 50 years ago. My cousin wanted my teenage son to have it, so he shipped it to us and we decided we would surprise him with it. My son has worked so hard playing for the past several years and we felt he deserves an upgrade from his student trumpet to a professional instrument. I searched for local music repair shops in my area and landed upon Brass Attitude Mobile Instrument Repair here on Yelp. I was intrigued because this company is the only one I came across that offers to travel to the customer's location, provide a quote and pick up and drop off your instrument as part of their service. I sent a message requesting a virtual consultation and Richard was very responsive and knowledgeable- he took the time to answer ALL of my questions as I had no idea the technicalities of restoring an instrument. Richard accommodated our schedule and we set up a time for him to come to our residence to take a look at the trumpet. He offered several options and suggestions for finishes (lacquered, brushed/satin, and silver plating) and brought his own trumpet to show us what a brushed finish looked like. He evaluated the condition of the trumpet very well, shared his own personal experiences as a trumpet musician, and offered great suggestions for how my son can customize the instrument to his liking as he continues playing. Since the trumpet case was not in the best shape, Richard also offered suggestions on the best cases and stated would also be selling them very soon if we were interested in buying from him. He made great recommendations about the best mouthpieces and valve adjustments to fine-tune the trumpet for creating a better sound. Richard identified the dents that needed removal, valve felts that needed replacement as well as corks and screws that needed replacing. He stated he would give the instrument a much-needed "acid bath" to remove rust and other buildup. Richard assured us that the trumpet was in decent shape, but he could make it look better and get it in ready-to-play shape. We agreed to have the work done. Richard emailed a quote to me itemizing the cost of the service he was going to provide and stated that it would be 3-day turn around to complete the work. He kept great communication with us via text and sent us pictures of his work the night before he was scheduled to drop off the trumpet. We paid the invoice online which was in alignment with his initial quote. About 3 business days later, Richard dropped the instrument off this morning and we are very pleased with the work that he did. We can't wait to see the look on my son's face when he receives his "dream" trumpet on Christmas day! Thank you Richard for making this possible for us and we look forward to your expertise when my son decides to have additional customizations.

Their cancellation policy is that you cannot reschedule a class without a week's notice. Which doesn't take a family's real life into account. If you don't give them a week's notice, you are out the money for that lesson and your child will not receive any instruction. They do not prorate for Spring Break, Winter Break and Thanksgiving Break, even though they are closed during those times. They follow the Temecula Unified School district's calender and aren't open during those breaks, but you still pay full price for those months. Lastly, and most importantly, they're swindlers. I had complained about the cancelation policy to them over the phone and stated that I would be looking for a new music school for my daughter AFTER her recital on the 29th of April. I wrote a review on Google that was critical of their cancelation policy as well. In retaliation they dropped my daughter from their school. But of course this was AFTER they were perfectly happy to tale my money for the full month of April. Now they have swindled me out of over $200 and my daughter is unable to perform in the recital she spent months preparing for. I have demanded a refund of that money, but we'll see how that goes. When I demanded an explanation, I was told that my daughter was dropped from the school because of the review I left on Google. So I wouldn't trust good reviews because apparently the policy is to drop your child and steal your money if you leave a critical review. I feel the need to also say that they did not tell me my daughter had been dropped from their school. I found out yesterday when I dropped my daughter off. No notice, no nothing. They just took my money and dropped my daughter for a critical review.
