**5 Stars - Great Service for My Old Car Key Copy!** I recently had to get a key copied for my old car, which I've had for years, and was worried it might be a challenge since the key was pretty worn down. I ran into Mario at my mechanic shop and decided to give them a try - so glad I did! The key came out perfect - it works smoothly in the ignition and all the locks, and I could tell it was a quality copy. He could have easily charged me more for the service, but they were honest and didn't try to upsell anything unnecessary. It's rare to find a business this trustworthy! Highly recommend Masterley if you need a key copy, especially for an older car. He truly knows what hes doing and provided excellent customer service. I'll definitely be back if I need anything else! read more

Called a few other key places, but was pleased to find such a willingness to want to help me. Came faster than promised, did exactly what he said and was honest with his service. I did not feel comfortable with the others and chose master key. He was very professional. I have reffered him a few times with same results. Thank you again read more

I had gotten my car broken into and the insurance was taking forever. Mario understood my frustration and was empathetic. Mario was at my house at the intended meeting time and finished repairing my ignition within 40 minutes. He gave me two standard keys that came with the new ignition but it didn't have a remote so I couldn't lock my car from a distance. For $15, he reprogrammed my old remote to the new ignition. He also gave me a jumpstart! read more

Yes I was in a bind. I was packing to move and unknowingly tossed my car keys in the trash and did not have a spare. I needed help urgently. With to the help of Yelp to the rescue came Super Mario who swooped in within 30 mins. of our initial call. Once the door was opened it turned out I hadn't trashed the keys.... I had just locked the keys inside my vehicle. DUH.... anyway he whipped up two spare keys with a couple of fancy key rings and in less than 20 mins he was off to his next rescue. Mario is awesome, polite and patient. I added them to my contacts. they will be the first I call for any future lock issues. Thanks Mario Peg O. read more

I called around to several other locksmiths but was shocked by how unprofessional they were. They either couldn't give me a quote on the phone or promised to call me back immediately and never did. Mario was so professional and communicative. He gave me a clear and direct quote (which was $100 less than what the dealer quoted me) over the phone and was so easy to meet up with. He got the job done in under 15 minutes. Would highly recommend! read more

I was recommended to Mario by one of my customers at work. I messaged him on his cell phone provided on the key chain and company Instagram. Within minutes, he messaged me and I asked for a request on a single key with key fob for my older 2006 Toyota 4Runner, it was getting annoying, having a separate key and fob. He only had the newer version with the flip key, but I asked him if I can get the previous generation key, as you can see on the picture. He was able to order it. We set up a day and within 25 minutes I had my new key for my vehicle. And yes, the rear window feature works when holding the trunk button. read more

They sent me another Auto locksmith. The locksmith that they referred me to broke my key that I wanted to program and was dismissive. The service they provided was ONLY to reprogram my keys and it was $220. They were really obscure on pricing, told me initially that it would be $140 then kept increasing the price. I gave the guy a stink face because he kept increasing the price without a reasonable explanation. I asked why, he said labor. He connected his computer to my car and called it a day. Hiding fees or increasing prices impromptu is sketchy business! If MasterKey referred this kind of business partner, I can only imagine what kind of business these folks do. read more

Mario was amazeballs! He helped me w a couple of different inquiries about needing keys and locks worked on. One he handled like a champ and made my life much easier w a multitude of problems solved in one visit. The other one was above his knowledge and capabilities but he sent me to a couple of other guys who he thought could maybe handle the job. Great response, kept me in the loop of his ETA. Arrived in an amazing work truck that was filled with everything professionally and orderly. Quickly took care of business and did some more stuff to help me feel confident about me calling him for service. A Super friendly and kind person, is Mario. Totally glad I called him. I first contacted him on his day off less than 24 hours ago and from our first point of contact he has been professional/prompt/polite from beginning to end. My wife broke her key fob on for her vehicle. Se called the dealership and got pricing. Damn! They want money for the key and the fob, well over $300. So I called a few locksmiths and decided to go with Mario at Masterkey. He was very polite and extremely professional. He asked questions regarding the type of key and keyfob and gave me a quote over the phone. I live in Pico Rivera. He was willing to come out right away and take care of our problem. He was at our home in under 20 mins. His price was so amazing, I got an extra key and fob for my vehicle. Still under what the dealership wanted for one. When he arrived he was very informative and polite. He worked quickly and got both keyfobs and keys done in about 30 min. I highly recommend Mario if you need a replacement key or keyfob. His prices are very reasonable. Thank you Mario, my wife and I appreciate your professionalism. Should we need a key for anything else, you're the man we're gonna call. We also gave your number to my sister inalw. read more

Mario the proprietor of MasterKey- - Automotive locks is a very proficient in his job. He did an excellent job and perfectly duplicated the key of my Mercedes Benz AMG C-43. Before him, I called 3 other Automotive locks technicians. One came over and was unable to do the job and suggested that I take it to the Mercedes Benz dealer. I did not because I I know it will cost me a lot of money. I am very happy I contacted Mario. Wow, thank God he did a very satisfactory job. And as. a bonus he even replaced my windshield wiper at no extra charge. Thanks again Mario and more power to you. QI am rating him a 5 star read more

Yesterday afternoon, I observed a mini truck (MasterKey Auto) servicing a client behind Ralph's Mkt in Downey (Gallatin Rd). I decided to walk over as I've been having issues with my electronic key. I shared this issue with Mario (owner) and without hesitation, he handed me a small plastic bag with a battery. Told him that I wasn't certain how to replace the battery and again, without skipping a beat, he kindly and swiftly changed the battery. If that wasn't impressive, when I asked how much I owed him, he told me that it free of charge! In this greedy business world of ours, Mario's generous gesture is uncommon and rare. I only wish him the best and am so glad that I met someone of his giving character. read more
