Today, I called again now 3-4-26 and I got the owner live and I asked him why doesn't he address my issue on email or on the phone. And why he never calls back even when he says he wil. He said you don't need to cuss at me, when in fact I did not. My chewing him out must had sounded like I was cussing, That call was recorded. As I do with all fly-by-night garages) I reviewed the recording and there was no cussing. He said he would not work on my car. I didn't respond but I had made that decision long ago. The only reason I considered going there in the first place, is because it was the closest garage to me and I needed a radiator and can't travel more than 10 min. before the car starts to overheat. So, bottom line, they don't do email (even at info.com), they don't call back on messages left on the answer machine and they won't get back to you even if you are lucky enough to get a human when you call. And the salesman was very nice and helpful. I traded in my old car that went towards the purchase. I am glad I purchased a warranty because at the beginning of November 2024, my transmission gave out! My car was towed and brought in. However, I did have to wait over a week because the warranty required all documentation of any services provided on my car. I was also out of town so I couldn't this information. One of the guys (my apologies for not remembering his name) was able to obtain the information needed without me and sent in the warranty. They were able to start working on my car and I was given a loaner car. They had to rebuild my transmission and it took about 2 weeks as he stated. BTW, my warranty was about to expire. I was less than 200 miles from losing it! Overall both of my experiences, were very positive. The salesman did not pressure me into looking at other cars except the one I was looking at. And he was very patient with me. The Service department were very polite, friendly, and professional. I am not sure if my next car would be a Ford but I would come back here if I decide that.

I also needed some new clips due to age deteriorating plastic. This was what the two diagnostic fees said I needed. Well the next day the car still didn't work right. I was told that I could bring it back but there would be another diagnostic fee!!! No break, not even an I'm sorry we got it wrong. $2300 dollars out the window and I'm back where I started.

There are around 8-10 arcade cabinets and pinball machines lining the walls, all free to play, as well as retro consoles like an NES and Sega Dreamcast built into back hatch of a classic car. If you are just looking to relax, or get work done, there are couches, easy chairs, as well as a table with comfortable stools and chairs for working. Maybe best of all.. Free snacks. There was a basket of various chip and cookies bags, and a mini fridge of drinks. While all of that is NOT the main focus of why you are here, I appreciate the acknowledgement that, this part of life is not everyone's favorite thing. So making the customer as comfortable as possible while they wait, and not nickle and diming for things like playing a game or having a snack is a testament to that customer-centric focus. Anyway. Car stuff. You can tell these guys love working on cars, and that's the reason for them being here mainly while being able to make a living. The reason for my visit, is I had just recently bought a Volvo s60 PHEV and wanted an independent inspection before committing to keep it. Volvos, especially those with a hybrid system, require a trained eye so you can't trust just any shop to evaluate. Twin City Euro has at least 1 certified Volvo tech on staff, and were able to schedule me within my purchase window, so I came to them. They did a full evaluation of my car, and helped me notice a few relatively minor cosmetic things I had not seen at first (but didn't ultimately affect my purchase), including the most minute of windshield chips... which caught now can prevent a crack later (and be serviced by the place I purchased it free). Of course, they also took it for a drive and put it through it's paces mechanically, and checked for ongoing proper maintenance, ultimately giving it a clean bill of health. It put me at ease, and also made me know, I have found my shop of choice for when I need maintenance or repairs on this vehicle. I'll be back, and would recommend other European car owners look into them for their maintenance and repair needs.

After initially taking it to useless Flow Volkswagen (don't ever go there...for anything...), we took it to Twin City. And unlike Flow, who's mechanics must've trained on Tonka Toys, the guys at Twin City actually lifted the dern hood and actually put their hands on the engine. They were able to correctly diagnose the problem and sadly it was catastrophic engine failure. While disappointed, their owner offered a fair price for the car, and even told me he'd fix it up to help someone else out. Don't find many car shop owner willing to do that. Needless to say, the folks at Twin City won me over and I'll be bringing my newer used Volkswagen to them for it's regular oil change next month. I almost spent over $300 on the original bad estimate. Wiley at the front desk was very informative and professional. After the tech drove it and confirmed the issue, he explained it and he was also willing to work with me to schedule the work and payment. Rather than scheduling an appointment to have it done, they did the work right then in less than two hours. I also have another lesser issue with the car and I have already made an appointment for that for after the 1st of January.
