For the record, I hate going to gyms (waiting on machines, then watching people glare at me as I use the machine I had been waiting on), I don't like to run, and swimming for me is a seat on the bench in the pool with a cold beverage in hand. But I do need to exercise. So it was just a few weeks ago that I put my 48 year old body through a trial class at Min Hur's and I've been hooked ever since. The classes are invigorating, the instructors are patient, and I am learning a life skill. But most importantly, I've gained a great activity that I can share with my son. What more could I ask for? One big plus here - they offer family classes on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, and my son and I can also work out together on Saturday mornings as well. Yes, he outranks me - and I'm constantly reminded of that. But I couldn't have asked for a better way to get back in shape - and I will beat him to black belt! Thanks Min Hur!

I originally found this place through a groupon coupon that offered 8 classes and the outfit for…read more$50. It seemed like a great deal and my daughter was looking to try something new and fun. We went in and she took the Saturday free class to see if she even like Tae Kwondo - she did and so we signed up. This studio is fantastic. The best thing about this studio is owner head instructor Tae Kwondo black belt Jonathan. The guy is incredible - especially with kids. He really makes taking Tae Kwondo something that is fun and something my daughter looks forward to when ever it's a day she has class. This studio is mainly focused on the competitive sport aspect of Tae Kwondo as opposed to self-defense which is fine. They seem to always place in the top at tournaments. The best thing about this studio is the instruction. It makes learning fun, at a pace that you're comfortable with and easy to understand. My daughter loves this class and when I told her we may move out of state soon and she asked if we can at least still come back to take classes here. This is a good find.
