(Code for: your office sucks and your not-even-a-doctor/student to be a PA prescribed me the wrong medication and insisted that I keep taking it despite the horrible side effects and I would not come back here even if I was paid to do so). I handed them a records release form and informed them that I already had an appointment with another Endo. I was home from that appointment for less than 2 hours and UBMD Endo called me and said that I had 'forgotten' to schedule the follow-up appointment. Um, no. I *told* you I was going elsewhere and would not be scheduling the appointment. Then *a different* person called me not even a full hour after that, and said that *they* forgot to schedule my follow-up. I had to tell that person, too, that I was not coming back there ever again. Good riddance. Please do not go here, ever. They're awful.

I have a complex history and an intern not appropriate!" They wanted to argue and I keep showing my list of diagnosed condition. I had 30 diagnosed conditions at that point and now 34! I left that appointment with blood boiling. Then the real fun started. I got notification that my health record had been uploaded. I have a lot going on and want to make sure correct. 80% of entered data was completely incorrect. They conflated current data with historical data, created conditions I did not have and left off ones I do and made a nonsensical health record. After MANY phone calls and portal messages they just made it worse! On top of all this you cannot contact "Dr of record" in portal. I had to do a browser search on her name, find her on UB Med school site and get her phone and email. I phoned and emailed and she refused to respond! I then went on to General Physians PC in May 2024. MUCH better practice. Children playing hospital do a much more admirable job of it!!

But the whole system is broken and everybody knows it and it's just designed to take as much of our money as possible. And there seems to be no relief on the horizon. And no line on the Verizon either. Not unless you want to pay 400 a month and sh**.

Long story short I ended up in the psych ward three times in 4 weeks. Last time was 11 days. My nervous system is shot. That Prozac turned on my fight or flight and it never turned off. I have also seen Dr. Michael Jordan at BMG and he's just as compassionate and knowledgeable as Dr. Wands - he's more of a sports-medicine Doctor. I followed Dr. Wands from when she was at Lifetime Health - this is a bit farther out in Williamsville (I'm in Kenmore), than I'd like to travel, however, the drive is worth it. My husband dropped me off at the emergency entrance since my water broke after hours and without even needing to say a word, an aide met me with a wheel chair to bring me to labor and delivery. The nurses mentioned in passing that it was a busy night but you would have never known from our end of things. I had help in a matter of moments after pressing the call light and the nurses and aides checked on us frequently throughout our entire stay. Everyone was so friendly and helped to make my first birth experience more meaningful and enjoyable. The lactation consultants were all very considerate and patient with us and were willing to spend extra time with us to make sure we felt comfortable with the process prior to leaving the hospital. Two of my main nurses were Peggy and Kristen and they were fantastic to work with! I wish I could remember all the names of the gals who helped us to give proper credit but just know that no matter what nurse or aide you are greeted with upon entry, you will be given high quality care! I highly recommend MFSH for labor and delivery.

Again, the staff knew their role in my case, worked in tandem and there were 6 or 8 attending me. All I can say is my meeting with the Anesthesiologist was a good experience. The CRNA was attentive and said she'd be next to me through the whole procedure and she was! She had a very calming demeanor which I appreciated. The surgeon was superb and visited post procedure. I cannot say enough positive about my whole experience. ASC is truly the best in all facets of surgical care.

Upon entering, you are greeted by the receptionist and a beautiful reception desk. Check in is a 2 step process where arrival confirmation is done at the front desk and completed immediately around the corner at one of the 2 registration areas. There are 2 separate waiting areas, depending on the procedure being done. Each is very clean, comfortable and well lit with plenty of seating. Each area has a television and some of the seating is arranged to allow for easy viewing. The pre and post surgical areas are also immaculate and the staff goes out of the way to ensure the patient's comfort and keep the well informed of what is going on. The entire staff from reception to intake to nursing is top notch, pleasant and professional. Their attitudes help to relax both the patient and accompanying family and make a sometimes unnerving situation easier to deal with. If possible and you're given a choice, choosing this facility is a smart move.

I went to Paul Young, didn't see him, which is fine, but the NP that I saw didn't do anything my PCP didn't do and immediately suggested a nasal ablation and went on a sales pitch about how Dr. Young does them in the office. Felt like they "sell" that to everyone. She also couldn't see anything concerning- so why suggest this procedure? And for the plugged ears, she suggested I get a hearing test but they don't perform them. What kind of ENT can't do a hearing test in the office? Long story short- useless and total waste of time and money. Just got a $350.00 bill, after insurance for literally nothing.

The new physician, at my very first visit, said: 'I got your records from Dr Young's office, as well as the notes about your anxiety." I don't have anxiety. The awful surgery center that he uses kept me in a room for nearly NINE HOURS waiting to be taken back for surgery; I asked a nurse ONE TIME when I'll be taken back and she ran and told the anesthesiologist's helper that I was 'anxious' and they offered to give me pre-anesthesia to 'calm me down.' No, I was not anxious, I was super thirsty and MAD because I have not had any food or drink since midnight and it was nearly 5pm (so for15 hours). My nose is the same now as it was pre-surgery. I'm still congested, I still have post-nasal drip, and my sleep still sucks because I'm coughing from the throat irritation of the snot dripping down my throat. I've asked them to test me for other things (Covid, etc.) that might suggest why I was still feeling that way; apparently wanting to breathe without choking on snot makes a person 'anxious.' I guess that the PAs / Ear Doctor are also psychologists, and are able to diagnose 'anxiety' without a degree in human psychology. Interesting. No wonder my Primary Doc, at my 'make sure this person is healthy before surgery' checkup looked down at the doctor's name and said: 'Just be careful, some doctors think they're god and will judge you for everything."
