From day one, I was welcomed into a warm, supportive community that truly cares about its students. Since starting Tai Chi here, I've noticed a real improvement in my breathing (I have asthma) and my body feels stronger, more balanced, and more at ease overall. The benefits have been both physical and calming, and I look forward to class every week. Doug, the owner, is absolutely amazing. His passion for Tai Chi and Shaolin arts is obvious, and he genuinely cares about every person in the class. He takes the time to give thoughtful corrections, explains movements clearly, and always offers alternatives if you have any physical limitations. His depth of knowledge and care really set this place apart. When I first became interested in Tai Chi, I tried checked out tik tok or YouTube videos but it was all over the place so I began my search for an in person place (in December) it's not February and taking an in-person class is a completely different experience. The personalized guidance, hands-on corrections, and insight you receive here are things you simply cannot get from a video. It has made all the difference in my progress and confidence. I'm so excited to continue my Tai Chi journey here. I highly, highly recommend Tustin Shaolin to anyone looking for Tai Chi! The Shaolin classes also look incredible! I may have to try those someday too!

I've been meditating for about 5 years, and beyond sitting meditation, I was looking for a practice that could support and deepen it. Tai Chi turned out to be exactly that. What I've experienced so far: * Reduced stress and anxiety * Greater focus and a sense of calm * It truly feels like meditation in motion I'll most likely be signing up for their monthly membership after my trial ends. Highly recommend for anyone looking to bring more balance to both mind and body

My daughter has learned and grown so much there over the years, and watching her participate in a tournament today was incredible. Her growth, confidence, and pride in herself were amazing to see. Sensei Wayne has created an extraordinary program. I especially want to give a shout out to Sensei Michael, who runs the small group my 5-year-old son attends. He is phenomenal with these little karate kids! He keeps classes fun and structured while also being flexible and responsive to each child's individual needs. He is confident and calmly in command, yet incredibly gentle and supportive at the same time -- which is exactly what works so well for my sensitive child. Sensei Michael consistently checks in with parents and has such a wonderful ability to give the kids just the right balance of challenge and support. We are so grateful to have found such a special place and such spectacular senseis!

Sensei Wayne blends the perfect amount of OT, Karate, social etiquette and life skills in his curriculum. I see my nephew growing and learning each time we attend class. He becomes a more confident and happier child after each session and dose of positive reinforcement. He especially enjoys the group outings with his classmates. It's not just about practicing forms when attending this program. It's also about connecting with others through the many opportunities outside of class as well.

I have been a hobbyist of various martial arts for years. Since day 1, the environment at Rounders was a perfect fit. The people are friendly and helpful. The hours and the selection of martial arts classes are excellent. Every last coach knows their stuff, and they teach both kids and adults classes with professionalism and care. I am also always grateful that the black belts, pro fighters, and other experienced trainees are so helpful during class. Not only do you have knowledgable coaches, but your peers support you here too. I have seen multiple martial arts gyms over the years, especially in Orange County, and while all have nice things to say about them, Rounders just hits every single mark. It's a nice and spacious facility with a great setup, but the people are what make it stand out. My only complaint is that I wish I had started here sooner.

Signed up and can't wait to start training.

After a ton of research, we decided to take a trial class at Legacy...and it completely exceeded our expectations! The Grand Master is incredibly hands-on and even teaches the toddler classes (Tiny Tigers), which truly sets this place apart. Every instructor is welcoming, highly skilled, and genuinely passionate. I love that they teach more than just martial arts...they emphasize discipline, safety awareness, confidence, and respect for elders. Every class is creative and different, so the kids never get bored, and it's actually fun to watch as a parent! My daughter comes out happy, tired, and excited to come back each time. She truly feels like part of a family here. We can't recommend Legacy enough!

I've been an Orangetheory member for several months and have attended classes at two different…read morestudios. Unfortunately, my home studio (Tustin) has been a very different experience. The biggest difference is the coaching. At the Irvine studio, the coaches bring incredible energy, actively motivate members, provide form corrections, and create an environment that makes you want to push yourself. It reminds me why I joined Orangetheory in the first place. At this location, the coaching often feels passive. In particular, Coach Melanie frequently spends a significant portion of class socializing with members instead of coaching. During those classes, there is very little motivation, almost no form correction, and limited engagement with the room as a whole. As a result, the workout feels much less structured and inspiring. I find myself driving an extra 20 minutes to another Orangetheory studio simply because the coaching quality is so much better. That's disappointing, especially when I have a studio much closer to home. The staff is always friendly, and I appreciate that. I just hope the studio places more emphasis on active coaching, member engagement, and helping everyone get the most out of their workout. Great coaches make all the difference, and I know this studio has the potential to provide that experience.
