I originally brought my dog in for one specific reason: to have his nails trimmed. I made that very clear when I dropped him off. While I was there, I decided to upgrade to the full grooming package for $120, figuring it would be worth it. When I picked him up, no one bothered to tell me that they never trimmed his nails, the entire reason I came in. I only knew that his nails were not trimmed because when they had called to let us know he was ready, my mom had asked how our dog did with his nails. Despite failing to perform the service I specifically requested, they still expected me to pay the full $120. When I explained that the nail trim was the main reason for my visit, they offered me a supposed **7% discount**. The total came to **$119.80**. That's not even remotely close to 7% off of $120. When I pointed out that their math made no sense, instead of addressing the issue, they brushed it off by saying I could "save a few dol by paying with Zelle," completely ignoring the fact that they hadn't done the service I came in for and had just misrepresented the discount. How do you expect customers to pay full price for a service that wasn't completed, then try to cover it up with a fake discount? It's insulting. The lack of honesty here is what bothered me most. Mistakes happen, but lying to customers and hoping they won't notice is unacceptable. I would strongly caution anyone considering bringing their pet here.

I found this company through Yelp projects, and I was immediately contacted and was provided information on pricing, availability and to essentially set an appointment . Gabriella was the nice young lady that arrived at my complex on time and sent me a few text keeping updated on her ETA prior to arriving. I gave her a bit of information on how I would like my little pup to look and what I was looking for in terms of style. If you have a Yorkie, you know their hair grows super fast! I did ask for her to cut him down as low as possible, keeping his face on the rounded side, she did exactly just that. During the appointment, she texted me a photo of a little scab that was on mu pups ear, to make me aware that was already there and not caused by her. I appreciate it that she took the time to do that, and I had already known about the scab. The appointmentby took about an hour and 15 minutes and when she was done, she alerted me via text. Payment was very simple, as they do accept Zelle. I was very pleased with the outcome, and judging from the look and the action of my pup, I knew he felt comfortable with Gabriella. I'll definitely be contacting them again for future appointment., 10 out of 10 I would definitely recommend Dookie's pet grooming.
