Prior to coming here I was at another barbershop for about 3 years, but wasn't happy. This place knows exactly what to do with my hair and how I like it. I've also gotten compliments on my cuts on the streets of NYC from strangers (seriously). Pros: -Parking -Barbers are all knowledgeable and experienced -Prices are reasonable -Barbers are nice, place is well lit and clean Cons: -The wait ... the wait... the wait. This is the only thing I really hate. Lol I've waited two hours because I want MY barber (he shall remain nameless because I don't want to wait longer lol) -Cash only -No appointments Definitely 5 stars for my barber and my backup the two best. However, after today's experience, I will no longer be a returning customer. Despite the excellence in service, waiting over an hour when there are only two people ahead is unacceptable. I've had many times when I was able to just walk in through the doors and get my hair cut immediately, but other times have had to wait upwards of 30 minutes. I don't believe they take appointments either. A lot of the other reviews complain about the barbers talking to one another while providing a haircut. I understand that to a certain extent, but these guys are having a great time doing what they love and it shows and adds to the positive environment of their business. It's just part of the culture of the barbershop so I don't mind it at all.
