Broccoli quiche with 100g side salad (cucumbers, celery, black olives, goat cheese, walnuts)
Monika S.

Cute, bright cafe frequented by the locals. I stopped in for lunch around 1pm and luckily there was seating available, but I can see that seats are not always guaranteed especially for big groups. The bar seats in front of the window allow for great people watching as you eat. I ordered broccoli quiche with a side salad. The quiche was decent with nice crusty pastry edge and creamy filling. The side salad consisted of cucumbers, celery, black olives, goat cheese and walnuts. It was a crunchy, satisfying combo. Side salads are 100g measured out on the plate. I was pleasantly surprised to see their customers include all ages. An older woman as well as preteens came in. The cafe is also dog friendly. Next time I'm in the area I would love to try one of their many, delicious-looking pastries or perhaps a larger meal (the one my neighbor was eating looked tasty).

Good spot to meet up with a friend or two, but I don't recommend coming here with a large group due to the limited seating. They basically only have bar-type seating for up to about 10 people. But I noticed that many people placed to-go orders. They offer a wide variety of fresh American pastries (and quiches)! They even had a vegan option available (banana bread). This time I was drawn to the cinnamon cheesecake, which turned out to be just okay since I wasn't a big fan of the sour topping, but when I return I will definitely try something different (maybe the regular cheesecake since I did enjoy the base). Please note, this establishment is situated around the corner from the Massolitt bookstore/ cafe. Update: Came back for another try, and I'm glad I did. This time I got the original New York Cheesecake and it was perfect. In addition, I ordered a cappuccino which also turned out to be great.

American style cookies!

My favorite place for a perfect flat white. Nice people, cool and simple atmosphere, and the best cookies in town. Always a pleasure.

Caffe latte with a bagel with cream cheese, chives and tomatos. Really delicious!!

This is the best cafe I have ever been to hands down, such a great way to start a trip to Krakow…read more The prices are incredible and the food is even better. I had the Charle Breakfast for under $7 and it came with a bread basket, tea, sparkling wine, and an egg. The bread basket was served with a delicious selection of fruit and chocolate spreads. The bread was fresh and the croissants buttery and flaky. The sparkling wine was crisp and not too sweet. The cafe has plenty of sitting room with a cute upstairs balcony. I highly recommend Charlottes to anyone looking for a great breakfast, snack, or pastry. I will be back for sure!

4 stars based on good food and drinks and the great patio. The service here could be better and…read morefriendlier. We waited for patio seating and were happy to squeeze 4 into a table but the server didn't seem happy until we ordered alcohol and she became a little more hospitable! Anyway! Nice cool spot for people watching and the food here is really good. We started off with coffees and then Kir royales. Ordered a couple of their open faced toasts and a quiche. Everything was fresh and well presented and I loved the pea pesto ! They had gluten free bread also for my celiac friend. Pastries here didn't strike me as all that even though everyone seemed to order them around us so decided to try those elsewhere. It was a nice start to our day food and drink wise. This is a busy spot though and you may have to wait for seating .

One of the best bakeries in Krakow! But you don't have to take my word for it ... the fact that…read morethis place always sells out of everything should speak for itself. Tip: Go get your fresh bread and pastries early! On my first visit (Saturday, ~12:30) all the baked goods were gone with the exception of their two breakfast meal options (which change daily). Luckily, I was at least able to try their super strong coffee. I fared a little better on my next visit (Thursday, ~2:30pm) and was able to snag one of their last few loaves (cranberry/nut -- so delicious). This bakery is tucked away on the other side of the river but is definitely worth the extra effort. There are only a few tables inside but it seems as though most people just take their baked goods to go anyway. Since the river is just a few minutes away, it makes way for a perfect picnic opportunity with a great view (speaking from experience). Last note, check their hours of operation before going.
