Tucked off Main Street, right next to another spa. No fills, no spa water with cucumber slices…read more Just a quiet, humble setup that smells like Tiger Balm and ambition. Walked in on a whim; Thursday, nearly noon. The kind of decision you make when your back's tight and the world's been punching you in the spine for days. Parking? Cheap and easy, if you ignore the threatening signs about reserved spaces. Inside, it's clean. Warm. Calming, in that no-BS kind of way. A couple of chairs, soft music, and a faint hum of Mandarin chatter floating through the air like incense. Ami had good hands. No machines. No gimmicks. Just hot stones and pressure. Didn't ask how hard or soft I wanted it, just dove in. Transitions were clunky. Gloves were odd. And taking phone calls mid-massage? Not exactly the stuff of five-star luxury. Still, there was something endearing about it. Real people. Hustling. Doing their best. No aromatherapy. No plush robes. But it wasn't trying to be a Shangri-La. It was trying to get you through the damn week. Would I go back? Maybe. When I want something raw, real, and just enough human kindness to keep me going. This place won't blow your mind, but it just might unknot your shoulders.

STAY AWAY NO STARS IF IT WAS POSSIBLE…read more Asked for payment upfront in cash, said I need to pay with card but can tip in cash. Asked how much I would be tipping before the foot massage. I said well the massage is $70 so probably $15. The woman got angry said that's not enough! It's too much work for $15! And through my card back at me. Really I'm paying $70 plus $15. Exactly how much are you expecting as a tip $30?? WHAT A JOKE.

This place is a hit or a miss. The first two times we visited, we were impressed by the personable…read morecustomer service and felt the deep tissue massages helped a lot- therefore, tipped more especially during the holidays. However, more recently, my family member got another masseuse and felt it was not helpful at all. My biggest issue is that Selina, the owner, gave me a great massage last week and told me if I came back next time, she would devote 1 hour to just my shoulders which were very tight- I appreciated this, agreed and rushed my schedule to fit this in less than a week because of her promise. Today, I came today for my appointment, even called 30 minutes beforehand to confirm that I'd get a massage from her, and they said yes. Instead, when I walked in, she said she was sick and that someone else would be giving me my massage. If this was the case, why didn't anyone say so when I called beforehand to confirm? I squeezed in time on a very busy schedule because of her promise. Instead I got someone else, and also didn't get the focused shoulder massage by her so it felt like a waste of time and money- I felt tricked. If I had been conveyed this information, there would be more trust in this service, and I could make better decisions on whether I decide to come anyway, or another time in a few months for a massage I feel is worth the price. Massages are not cheap. Disappointed and upset.

I love this place it's my go to when I need a massage. $90 for 90 min and I usually bring cash but…read morethis time I used my card (paid $95.96). I normally bring a $100 bill and just give that and tell them to keep the change as tip. I took one star off because when I was checking out today I wrote $10 as the tip (which I always do) and the guy, who I think is the owner possibly, looked at me weird and tried to tell me how much a 90 min massage SHOULD be tipped. I don't appreciate that. As someone who's worked as a server, you should NOT tell your customers how much they have to tip and make them feel bad for not tipping what you expect. It just didn't feel nice. The only reason I will keep coming back to this place despite this is because the massage itself is AMAZING. Other than that one time moment, I love this place. Today I had Chunli (i'm sorry if I spelled that wrong) and she was AMAZING. She would check in with me and ask me if I'm okay throughout the session which I appreciated. She hit all the points of my body that really needed attention and it's like she just knew which parts needed extra attention. It was fantastic and I feel so much better afterwards. They use hot stones and a hot towel during the session. The area is very clean and when you enter they give you slides to wear when you walk in. They play calming music in the rooms which is nice. On weekdays (mon-thurs) I've been able to walk in and they can take me. Today is Friday and I had to come in at a certain time for them to take me, so it would be smart to call ahead of time and ask if you can walk in or if you need an appointment. Overall, this place is still a solid go-to for me because the massages are consistently incredible and worth it. One uncomfortable checkout interaction knocked off a star, but the quality of the service keeps me coming back.

The owner is amazing and allowed me to have a unique experience which involved cup which is something I will be including into my self care routine Felt safe and comfortable the entire time.

I had booked an appointment yesterday evening at this wellness center after reading some great…read morereviews about John. I have to say I did not experience any of what I read. The customer service was very poor from the time of check in to the time of check out. When I first arrived, John just gave me a quiet hello then gives me some papers to fill out and didn't say much else before taking me into room. During the massage, I felt some discomfort when he would knead my body with his arms because it felt like he had new grown hairs on his arms that were rubbing against my skin ( like when a man shaves his beard, then the new hairs start growing back- that's what it felt like rubbing against my skin). I couldn't really relax because of this. I did mention this to him at the end of the massage and his response was "That's the first time I've heard that." Didn't even apologize. Just gave a short nonchalant response. Plus, usually when I a get massage, at the end, my massage therapist offers me water and ask how the massage was and lets me know the problem areas they found during my massage, like knots in my back, tightness or inflammation in certain parts of my body and they would recommended stretches, ways to position you body while sleeping to help with hips and joint discomfort. There wasn't much communication after the massage either. John, did not offer me water, did not mention any problem areas he found in my body, nor did he give me any type of suggestions for any daily care like stretches, exercises, etc. He also never apologized for the rubbing hairs feeling on my skin. It was like he didn't want to be bothered with me anymore after the massage. He struck me as somewhat antisocial and someone lacking in customer service. This will definitely not be my go- to place for a Therapeutic massage.

The massage was fantastic and of overdue so I immediately made a new appointment. It's a little tucked away so one doesn't see them from the street but I'm happy I discovered it!
