I was having bad neck and shoulder issues and was in desperate need of a good deep tissue massage…read more I've seen Woodhouse multiple times but had never been and decided to give it a shot. While it is not cheap, it's worth it. You get ushered back to the bathroom to change. You have your own locker that you can put all your stuff in and lock, so very secure. Very nice bathrobe and sandals to put on and then you go into a waiting room. Very calm and serene. A couple of different flavored waters to choose from and snacks if you're so inclined. Waited in there about 10 mins (you can bring your phone but come on people - you're here to relax. Put the flipping thing in the locker. You can disconnect for an hour). My masseuse came and collected me and ushered me to a nice quiet room. She listened to what I wanted her to do and left me to get under the sheets. The room was nice and warm and I was never cold. The massage was WONDERFUL. I needed a deep tissue and she delivered. Within 2 days my shoulder and neck were worlds better. After the massage they take you back to the bathroom. I super appreciate that there is a shower. The only downside of massage is having that oil all over you and getting dressed again. Loved the shower - very clean and great towels. Highly recommend and will return!

I only wanted a simple lip flip and a little Botox for the "11" lines between my brows. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed with my experience. Inness bruised my lip badly, which has never happened to me with a lip flip before. Looking back, I honestly should have walked out when I noticed she wasn't wearing gloves while doing the injections. That alone made me uncomfortable. Needless to say, this was a first and last experience for me and I will never refer anyone there. Never again.

Check in was fine but they seemed confused on some of the paperwork. They allowed us to have the private back room which was cool. However they didn't give us our snack until right at the very end and we only had like 5 mins to eat it and then was whisked off to the sauna and when we came back, the snack was gone. Which was disappointing bc the snacks were very tasty and delicious and such a waste of food. If we had that room the whole time, they should've given us the snack at the beginning so we had the whole time to eat it.. we each had at least two services. I had the massage and it was very average. The lady didn't know where my trigger points were at all and was just massaging with no regard for my personal trigger points. Then when I laid face up, she put a wet warm towel on my face and by the end of it, it was cold and felt like gross wet towel on my face. Also that evening, I had red bumps all over my face. And she completely fucked up my neck. She had no idea where trigger points in my neck were either and was just pushing way too hard on all the wrong spots. It was not great. The sauna can fit two people and you could get on YouTube and play whatever music you like. Which was nice. But I don't see the benefit in the sauna at all. Very odd. Anyways, the other girls seemed to enjoy their services for the most part so at least that's a plus. But I will definitely not be coming back.

It felt a little uncomfortable--there was no real privacy, as people could be walking in and out while a person could be trying to relax. I sat there awkwardly until I was finally taken to a private room and asked to wait. I waited about 10 minutes before my 60-minute full body massage began. I was expecting a Swedish-style massage, but it was much more intense than I anticipated. I was sore for a few days afterward, but I did feel overall relief--especially in my neck and lower back. The reason for my 3-star rating is cleanliness. The sheets didn't feel clean; I noticed an oily residue when I first laid down, which was a bit off-putting. Would I go back? Probably not. The price was reasonable, but I'd rather pay a bit more for a cleaner and more professional setting.

I really enjoy going to Par Exsalonce for my haircuts and usually have a great experience there…read more But my recent hair color appointment honestly left me really disappointed. I was told that a global high-lift color could lighten my very dark hair a bit, so I trusted my stylist blindly and decided to go ahead with it. She used a high lift cream-based color, but in the end my hair looked almost exactly like my original color, rather more darker. I also had a few lighter hair strands left from my previous color, and those got covered too. Spending over $90 for almost no visible change was really not what I expected. It honestly felt like a waste of money, and I left pretty unhappy. Few suggestions for the Salon - I would really help if the salon did a 'strand test' first whenever they are not sure how a color will turn out. Maybe more training to the staff with different hair samples would help too or a proactive offer to improve the result than saying (we can do some highlights for another $100). Other than this, I really like my stylists and I always love the haircuts and advice I get there (just not thus hair color experience). I will go back because I have had good experiences otherwise, but next time I will take the color advice with a grain of salt instead of trusting the hair color recommendation.
